“Haven't been on the southside part of Houston in a while. But always crave Dutch more than Starbucks. First time at this location. Nice location away from traffic freeway, large parking area. Fully staff, and drive thru fully staffed, an inside too to accommodate customers. Medium Golden Eagle XXX hot inside a large cup with extra whip and extra caramel drizzle. And they made it perfect. Will be back if on this side of town. Peaceful area to get coffee.“

“This is close to my heart.
1. I live in Friendswood and the truth is this old city is dripping with ooooold racism. So anytime I walk into a new shop I’m so freakin nervous. I know - still today? Yes. BUT you wouldn’t believe how much it’s here in the very fine little town. However. Instantly, I knew I was safe in this store.

2. I found this little gem during the onset of COVID in 2020. Shelves fully stocked. When was there I had bronchitis and I purchased an essential oil blend and gave it a try - WORKED! I aaaalways keep some just in case. It’s even great for allergies which I totally have- ugh.

3. I leave a message of support/ review ONLY when I truly believe because God has blessed me with power of influence with my words. Just saying… probably why I’m a counselor.

4. I got sick and noticed I was out of my oil!!! They were closed and Mike opened to make sure I got my bottle. He did NOT have to do that. I’m so grateful that I cried. Cried hard. For someone that gives so much and goes out of her way, it’s touching that someone would even attempt to do that for me. And that, I’m said to say, doesn’t happen very often.

I wanna gatekeep this place and protect it so no one hurts and or destroys it. But I share it with people I know and love so much so they know where to go for:

A. Amazing customer service- that’s at the top of my list
B. Quality product
C. A caring atmosphere with great patronage (I can’t get out of that store without hearing someone else tell me “oh I love this place and Mike and I will always protect t him” - so see I’m not the only one.

All I ask is if you find your way in this store- be kind and protect them. They are the epitome of ma and paw shop in a great community that we can depend on. In other words- don’t go in there being mean and show your azz.

“I come here on average of 5 days a week, and I LOVE it here. The staff is always friendly and hardworking. I was just there today, and they were busy. I was so happy to see so many people in there (it was only 8 people in there + me), but it felt nice to know they were getting business. The three people I saw tonight did their job man. I really hope they get payed well. If you have never been here before and need a recommendation of which ice cream to get; Blue cotton candy with rainbow sprinkles is the best ice cream + topping combo I’ve ever had. “I've only had the pleasure of visiting this charming coffee shop twice, and both times I've been absolutely delighted by their signature drinks—the brunette, with its rich chocolate notes, and the blondie, featuring a smooth, caramel-infused flavor, are simply divine! The baristas truly seem like angels; they are not only exceptionally friendly but also incredibly helpful, making the whole experience feel warm and inviting. “The inside of the restaurant was clean and well organized. The most interesting part was the gyro king comic story on the wall on the back. I think a better use would be to have that comic strip in the front of the store. Food was divine and friend said it was the best gyro he’d ever had and he compared/stated better than gyros he’s tried even in Athens, Greece! It surely had the taste of a 5/5, I put a 4/5 because of the broken and crumbing pita that my traditional gyro came on. The yogurt sauce they have is excellent in portion, texture, and garlic. Would go back. Do not get the macarons if you’re used mud to higher level quality macarons and these crumbled and were hard. The baklava was delicious though!“
