The wait time is long though, sometimes you can be there close to 30 minutes before you get your order in. They do not open at 12 as advertised they open at 12:30 so be on the lookout for that! “I didn't rate the service or atmosphere only because I wasn't there to pick up the cookies but I'm sure it was top notch since one of my sons drives from Harlingen just to get their cookies .. I had the vanilla cookie with the creme on top and let me tell you it was THE BEST cookie I've ever eaten ..It rivaled my aunts chocolate chip cookies from childhood and that's saying a lot because I LOVE chocolate ! ?I would have normally chosen a chocolate cookie but thought to myself" Self .. try something different ? .. “We love Popeye's. They have the best sno-cones ever. The shaved ice is just right and their flavors are great. They have other stuff also, yesterday I had some yellow corn in a cup fixed. It was delicious. It is one of our favorite stops for a quick snack.“
“Aguas frescas are great! As soon as you pull up they walk up to your car and give you free samples. I have tried 6 of them and honestly all of the drinks were great. Some contain milk so that did a number on my stomach. They are all good, you will not be disappointed. I also tried the chicharon preparado, I wasnt a fan. But, if you like the vinegar pork rinds its a topping for you. Hit them up if you need a good refreshing drink. 8.8/10“

“This is a drive thru only Ice Cream shop.It was highly recommend for my last visit here but I wasn't able to try it until today.I tried the buttter pecanLet me tell you - those visiting it's like nothing you have had before They not only give yiu scoops of rich and creamy yummy ice cream the add shaved ice!!!I was so worried to try it because I thought it would melt and water down the ice cream.That could not have been further from the truth.The combination complimented itself so well and I wanted more LOLWe only spent the day so this is definitely a must see again!
