Fall Creek Vineyards in Driftwood

My boyfriend and I just happened across Fall Creek on a Tuesday afternoon and we had a ball! Sergio was very knowledgeable about grapes and wine and the history of it all. $30 of a five wine tasting was such a great deal!

Enjoy their wine, but sleep someplace else..

Just stopped for a glass of wine on the patio. As far as I know there are no rooms available

DO NOT visit here. Toilets all broken, men and women's, when asked, not helpful. Should shut down, it's unsanitary!

I came here as part of a BBQ and Wine Tour and the service we received was fantastic. Our host (who's name escapes me too many great glasses of wine) was really friendly and informative and clearly passionate about Texan wines.

She provided all the details we needed and enjoyed every wine including a chardonnay which is not a wine I usually like and I decided to bring a chardonnay and a rose back home with me. Our host kindly packaged it up for me and it successfully made it home with me. If I ever end up back in Texas I would definitely come here again!

I enjoyed my visit to Fall Creek Vineyards. I had Reserve Tasting and my favorite of the flight was the Chez Rosé. The tasting experience was exceptional. The host was wonderful, very friendly, and kept up with all my questions and conversation, making the experience engaging.

The tasting room was cozy, and despite the garden being closed, it was a great, intimate spot to enjoy the wine. Highly recommend stopping here!

Visited with a group day tour. They corralled everyone from the tour together at a single table on the enclosed patio.

Unless you wished to purchase a souvenir glass, service was offered in plastic cups, even if you ordered wine by the glass. My friend noted that there was plastic debris floating in their cup. The server was non-chalant when this was initially pointed out, simply replacing the cups.

Self service water was available in plastic cups. Spittoons were not offered for the tasting.

The signature blend — Meritus — was served from a newly opened bottle without any aeration or decanting. It was closed, tight. The server asked how it was — and I shared that it was closed and asked how long they typically recommend it be decanted. She said “as long as possible” and said it was a “young bottle” that would have improved with age. A $27 glass of disappointment.

Service was cold and impersonal.

As we were comparing notes on wrapping up, at least 4 of 11 tour participants noted they had also experienced plastic debris floating in their cups. We mentioned it to the server again as an “oh by the way” safety issue, and she became defensive and said if we had mentioned it earlier she would have removed the items from our bills but it was too late.

The bathroom was clean and had two-ply toilet paper, which surprised everyone given the otherwise budget experience.

Very disappointing. Do not recommend. Would not return.

Just had the best time at Falls Creek Vineyard. The wine tasting was such a fun little sample and I totally recommend getting a bottle of Chenin Blanc, delicious! The service was the best part, Sergio, Mateo and Dominga were the sweetest and made us even more excited for our time in Austin with their recommendations! We will definitely be back, thank you !

We stayed two nights at the little annex just by the winery. We had the place and the garden to ourselves in the evenings. A very romantic place and also very good wine. Especially the mixed red reserve, that was excellent together with the also brilliant bbq we had aceoss the street. Ther is no breakfast though so that you have to bring yourself. Which is fine since there is a small fridge.

Very pretty location. Outdoor seating was fantastic. We did the tasting menu and it was great!

We came to do a tasting and had the most AMAZING experience on a cold and rainy day. We sat by the fire place on a sofa while the most adorable and kind server walked us through the wines. We laughed. We sipped. We loved the wines too! It was perfect and couldn’t recommend enough!

Sharla was the best host we had at the wine tasting. She had so much knowledge about the wines and made it an amazing experience for us all. It was great for people who didn’t know much about the wines or tasting experience. We loved the winery!!
