Fall Creek Vineyards in Driftwood

The facility was beautiful and the lady who attended to us was knowledgeable and pleasant. It was disappointing though to note that there was no production on the site, just wine tasting.
This should be made clear in the marketing comms as ‘winery’ presumes that wine is produced at the location.

Had a leisure stop for a tasting and some family time, celebrating our daughter's graduation from residency, one hard journey. Never knew the crazy life hospital residents endured until living it through our daughter.
This is a renovated old home with lots of history and character. The stone fireplace was amazing, I am sure even more awesome on a cooler day.
This was the perfect place to unwind on a seriously hot summer day. Do stop by.

@tollivertravelsFood & Drink: The bell pepper walnut hummus stuff was amazing. Had it with gluten free rice crackers. The wine was really good. Flavorful. I've never tasted such a powerful oaked flavor of Chardonnay. Definitely worth buying.Ambiance: so pretty. The pool in the back. The nature. It's tucked away and like a fairy tale.Kid friendly: Not so sure about this. If your kids can sit still in a restaurant they'll be okay.Service: Our server was so kind and knowledgeable. She was a joy to meet.

We were treated to an extensive history of the property and guide to their wines by our server. The service was excellent. The property is inviting and lovely. The Mission wine is delicious and memorable. Fall creek overall has been one of our favorite experiences of our many trips to the Austin area. Cheers!

Great experience ay Fall Creek Vineyards.Beautiful property, calm and inviting. Our server helped us to feel right at home and provided generous information about wine selections and the venue history. We sampled a few delicious wine choices before selecting a bottle of Roussanne. We also purchased a bottle of Rose’ to enjoy later.I would definitely recommend a visit!Food & drinks: Awesome wine selections.

This winery had a very pretty atmosphere and the service was very good. We were very disappointed with the size of the pours. My husband and I have attended many wine tastings over the years and love our wine. They pour approximately 1 ounce in your glass which is a bit more than a sip. Five ounces of wine for a $25 tasting seems very stingy. In addition, the cheese platter is not worth the money. The cheeses were sub par and the walnuts were not good. Very disappointing experience over all if what you are seeking are good wines.

This place was THE best unexpected surprise from the quaint ambiance, the friendliest & most welcoming staff to the best Texas Chardonnay I've ever had. Definitely worth checking this lil' jewel of a place out.
