“This place was sooooo good. I have “The Pepe” zepp and I added grilled chicken. Wow. My hubby had the Italian stallion with no bun. His favorite part was the cheese and the ham. The cocktails were great. The bartender was very cool and fun to talk to. Then… the Belgian chocolate dessert. Best dessert I’ve ever had and we had gone to the State Fair earlier today. We came for our anniversary dinner. Absolutely recommend this place.“

My recent visit to Hero Restaurant was excellent, but what truly made the experience unforgettable was the exceptional service from Daniel. From the moment we sat down, he went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and well taken care of.
Daniel’s attention to detail, warmth, and professionalism are unmatched. He anticipated our needs before we even had to ask, offered thoughtful recommendations, and carried everything out with a genuine smile and a great sense of humor. It’s rare to come across someone who not only excels at their job but clearly loves what they do—and it shows.

“This bar saved our NYE night! We had waited an hour to get sat at a different restaurant and ended up just leaving. Walked a bit and stumbled across this bar. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted and sat. Food was GREAT!!!! Atmosphere was very fun and lively. Will definitely be back!!!“

“I occasionally DJ here and since day one it's been very fun and outgoing. I'd recommend this place to anyone that wants to unwind and shoot pool, play darts, eat some great food and have some good drinks all nite long while listening to great music from myself or other djs in the house throughout the week.Hit me up if you have other questions. “Fantastic experience here. Good vibes, good food, and great times. Was visiting for the day and went twice! Joe and Lettice are the reason you want to go. You can tell they love working there and that energy is contagious. Such great personalities and awesome service. Tried the cheese curds and they were a hit. I loved that anyone would feel comfortable going, the vibe is just welcoming and a great time. Hardwood Tavern is the kind of bar you’ll want to keep to yourself—but it’s too good not to share. Will definitely return any time I’m in town! Loved it!!“

“It was my first time being there. The track open later than I expected on the last day of the thoroughbred racing season. It was the only place to hang out until noon. Ate a couple of hot dogs and water . Other than a couple of guys rudely talking over my head to someone else on the row in front of me it could have been a better first experience. I will be going back.“

“Honestly, Moxies in Uptown Dallas is such a vibe for brunch. They do it Saturdays and Sundays from 11 AM to 3 PM, which is perfect for a leisurely late-breakfast sesh  . The place has been freshly redone—it’s got that cool, Insta-worthy look that makes brunch feel like an occasion  .

“Just recently held a 50 year High School Reunion in this venue. We were fortunate to have the VIP area to gather and as a comfortable place to talk. Our class enjoyed the whole event.
The service was great, and the live music on this Friday night was fantastic. Many of our classmates met in the VIP section and went to the restaurants for dinner at one of the Trinity Groves Restaurants.
This is a family friendly environment.
Would not hesitate to do this again.“

“Mother's Day Brunch at Open Palette was outstanding and we will happily return year after year for such a wonderful, delicious, and thoughtful experience! Beautiful setting in the atrium. Menu was absolutely perfect including some great juices and so many exceptional options. Really could not have done better. Carving station, various seafood, omelet, salads, charcuterie and more. The make your Mom a card and flower bouquet was just too sweet!“
