“The food here is delicious, the meat is always so tender and savory. A must do if you're in the Brownwood-Early area. The service is good too, you don't really have a waiter, but people at the counter are always very friendly. And in general you've got to love the way everything inside the restaurant is set, the colors, the tables, the the chairs and even the napkins.“

“We had a good afternoon meal and rather enjoyed the experience.I had the chimichangas and my wife had the mole enchiladas. Both with rice and beans.The mole enchiladas rated at about an 8. Bit spicier that what she generally prefers but didn't kill her. Beans and rice were both about the same 8.Also had chips and salsa. Chips were good and crispy and salsa was o.k. chips an 8+ and salsa probably a 7ish.My chimichangas with steak were very crispy, in a good way. The meat was fresh inside and the cheese sauce was pretty tasty. When it comes to this meal it's hit or miss at most places. La Botana hit for a 9 on my entree. Beans and rice for me were tasty and had some good flavors. About an 8 for me as well.The beer was nice and cold. Not many choices on tap. 4 I believe. But XX was available and it was pretty good. Overall a 9. Selection... I would have preferred a cold Shiner or even a dark Modela.Wife had a house margarita on the rocks dressed. She gave it an 8. Enjoyed it and realized it wasn't supposed to be fancy. Was not bitter, which is a typical complaint for a house margarita. She liked it.Our server was a young man likely in his early 20s. Great attitude, nice and quite competent. Took good care of us. Very noteworthy is to say that while my wife was talking to me, he came close to our table, but not up in our grill and he waited for my wife to finish saying a thought and waited until we addressed his directly, meaning he was patient and respectful as to not just walk up and interrupt my wife. We thought that was pretty awesome of him.Atmosphere was alright. Included some pictures. The bar area was small, but I could see sitting there if we wanted to get a quick drink. Quaint area.Nice experience overall. Would totally go again when we are in town. And as a side note. We also went to Fuzzy that same day and she got a margarita there also. La Botana's margarita was far better.“

“Absolute gas!!! Everything is amazing!! I had asada sopas they were incredible my son had shrimp tacos best we either have had. I’m legit a chef and can’t make them that good!! The baked goods are amazing living in Dallas I’ve had lots of different stuff and these were incredible!! The cookies are a little crunchier than I like but the flavor is so amazing!! My hats off to them and what they are doing!! Thank you for being in Brownwood.“

“My husband is NOT an adventurous eater, so I was nervous to bring him here, but he loved it. The egg rolls are really good. I always get one of the three curries - red, yellow, or green. They quit serving some of the veggie varieties, but it still just hits the spot as far as Thai goes. He had the beef and pork stir fry and really liked it. The food is good.Parking: It’s just the store front. It can be hard to get in and out.Wheelchair accessibility: Not very accessible“

“So a number of years ago I left four-star review . I had gone a few times and it was really good. I haven't gone since Covid, and I finally went today. Unfortunately, it is not as good as the past times I had been. Last time the enchilada that comes with the chili relleno dish was tender and light and really good. it had kind of a chicken gravy over it that was different but very good. This time I didn't realize they were going to put a Ranchero sauce over it, and it tasted canned and it wasn't good. And their tortilla was heavy and kind of stiff and just not very good. The Rellano itself was OK but the cheese sauce tasted kind of like it had cheese wiz over the top of it. Not the nice light cheese sauce of the past.when I went to go pay, the guy didn't say that they were going to charge extra for the credit card and there was no sign that says so. And then it must've charged like 5% or something because it was more than I was expecting. when I asked the guy about it, he just said the machine charges what it charges. he couldn't even find the receipt that I asked him to look for to see what it charged me. But then I was able to pull up my credit card charge and it shows that it is charged me like an extra $.60 for a 13.50 meal. I wasn't happy. I had cash with me and i could've paid cash if i had known. I know it's not a huge amount, but all those charges add up which is why restaurants do it now. But it adds up to my pocketbook too. i won't be going back.“

“Great tasting barbacoa, al pastor, and beef tacos. I've included a pic of what was left of my barbacoa plate after I already ate 3 tacos.. definitely large portions.People are friendly, place was clean, and excellent value on the food. Only knock on atmosphere was the loud sounds from the fans.In summary, great place to stop.“

“We ate here for my son’s birthday tonight and they were so great. We were pretty loud and my toddler was being wild but they didn’t seem to mind. They let us bring in our own cake and even gifted my son free ice cream before we left since it was his birthday, which was so kind. He felt very special!“
