My son had to be taken to Eastland Memorial because it was the closest ER. He gashed his knee open and needed cleaning and stitches. From the moment we walked in, the experience has been pretty awful. The front desk woman, Lori, was short and extremely rude. My friend who is an RN was with me. All she tried to do was go be with my son while I was giving personal and insurance information. Once I received the bill, I wrote a check for almost half of it. I called and left...read full review
Living in a small town has its perks, and our local hospital is definitely one of them. While it may not have the big budgets or cutting-edge facilities of a larger city, what it lacks in size, it more than makes up for in heart.
