“We like to order out often to eat at home and usually order the same thing-XL New York pizza and garlic cheese bread. The food is usually good but lately everything has been going up in price. Today I decided to order a Caesar salad on the side for myself and paid for chicken to be added. The cashier at the carry out register asked me and confirmed the salad with chicken so I didn’t think anything of it. After I had some pizza and breadsticks, I opened my salad and saw nothing but cheese and lettuce. There was no chicken in my salad yet I still got charged the extra $1.89. I was really looking forward to having chicken as a protein but now all I have is a bowl of lettuce and cheese. Next time I’ll just buy a salad at the grocery stores and save myself from wasting an extra $6+.“

“Checked out JC Wings after a recommendation that they have the best wings in the Valley. I can’t really argue with that because the wings were excellent. Thursday special was 6 boneless wings, fries and unsweetened tea. I got the lemon pepper and friend got the JC sauce. Both were tasty and wings were large chunks of white meat, gently breaded. Seasoned fries were perfect and I got a custom burger on the side that was well cooked, sturdy bun that didn’t fall apart, and tea was fresh. We weren’t sure that it was even open when we pulled up, but the place quickly filled with locals and we realized we just beat the rush. Staff was friendly and helpful.“

Additionally, kudos to Ms. Grecia for using her skills as a fluent bilingual speaker to respectfully take the orders if both English and Spanish speaking customers. Her grammar and use if formal Spanish was greatly appreciated by the Spanish speaking couple that had trouble ordering from the English only menu. Now that was going above and beyond to help provide a nice dining experience. Last but not least, kudos to the female manager on shift for professionally handling the grumpy customer who was super picky about wanting bigger fresher pieces of chicken. He got what he wanted, but the manager clearly and politely explained that they could accommodate his request, but it would be about 10 to 20.minutes for a new batch.
