“Kokiri is a restaurant that you'd call to order jok bal. They serve these steamed meats in two different ways. One where they get all the fats out so you only taste the finest salkogi or the way they keep just a bit of fat included so it's nice and juicy. I prefer the previous way since I'm all about less fat. The first option may not be available since alot of customers are asking to have a little more fat on their jok bal.....make sure to ask for it though. They are well known for their tasty banchan in dallas and their foods made without MSG. Of course in our days, MSG have bad reputation among foodies that enjoy eating out, but it's just that much hard to find place that uses no MSG because it's hard to make food taste good with out it. But Kokiri restaurant is one of those that can do this well. I guess if you are thinking about eating tasty food, why not eat it clean as well without MSG right? Kokkiri's interior is somewhat down to earth I call it, it's not fansy, it's not too ghetto, but some may think it's ghetto due to old and plain walls and table settings. As long as you get the best foods, foodies don't care. Try the jok bal, or bo ssam (steamed pork belly) here and if you have room for sharing, try the sam gae tang (herb chicken soup) which is by far the best seller here. Tip #1 : their kimchi is pretty awesome, should enter for a kimchi competition if possible“
“I had the dumplings and Dolsot Bibimbap.Dumplings were a little larger than I'm used to, but they were hot and delicious. Well worth the money. The Bibimbap was hot with fresh veggies. Adding the chili sauce is a must. They had a variety of sides for different palates (9 from the picture). Loved the peanuts.Try it out of you want a change from the usual. Be bold and explore something different. I'll be back with my fiance next time. ????“

“food was fantastic! it has a “valley style” approach just about anyone can enjoy especially if you’ve never had Korean food before. Customer service was awesome! staff was friendly and nice. Will definitely be back to try the kimchi fries next time. (A suggestion though) music could be louder to give a fuller experience.“
“Suuuuuch yummy fried chicken we got the favorites which were the garlic and sweet and spicy and I can’t even explain how good they were all I could say was they were so fresh and crispy and the flavor was the BEST. Another thing I should mention is that a lot of friend chicken places around get me sick and this is the only chicken that didn’t make me feel any type of way. Such a great price as well 10/10 overall. They were still hot when we got home and it’s also located in a cute plaza and they made the place look cute.“
“Matthew truly exceeded our expectations as a server! His recommendations were not only impeccable but also highlighted the finest offerings of the restaurant. From the refreshing freshness of the lemonades to the tantalizing flavors of the moody blue rolls, every aspect of our dining experience was elevated. With such outstanding service and culinary delights, we can't wait to return for another memorable meal!“
“First time trying this place and everything was really good. They messed up on one of our orders but they let us keep the wrong order for free and brought the right order out shortly after. I thought that was really nice of them. Excellent food and customer service. Will definitely be coming here again!“
“It was my first time here and to be honest it wasn't that bad! I ordered the bulgogi beef and rice and it was delicious. We went during lunch time and it was pretty busy but the staff made everything flow with ease. I very much enjoyed this place! So glad to have found Korean food in the valley.“
“The food was delicious! We had the boneless secret sauce & kimchi, fried rice which had a nice kick to it but not over powering the taste. This was for two people and we took some home. Sebastian was our waiter and did a great job with service and his recommendation since this was our first time here. Come and check them out.“
