“My wife & I love this restaurant. Finally we found something different in the 956. We have never tried real Korean cuisine so we were a little nervous at 1st but now we are big fans. Everything is crispy and full of flavor. Great customer service & very clean. We highly recommend 👍👍“

“As someone who is into Korean food and personally have made a lot of Korean dishes at home the food was very heart warming. Coming from California and trying a lot of Korean food in huge Korean communities made by Koreans who left South Korea man this place hit the spot food wise their Kimchi Jjgae was solid the perfect spice broth, silky tofu, and tangy kimchi hit the spot. Their Bibimbap had the perfect amount of sesame seed oil, soft crisp rice bottom, grilled veggies, meat and egg. The sides that came with the dishes were plenty to enjoy. We finished them all.

For me I wish the atmosphere and decor was better but I'm here for the food but it helps to draw in more people. I do wish they served cold Korean beer and soju that's what Korean food is all about. Friends, alcohol and food. Maybe play a little K-pop too hahahaha.

Nonetheless I am coming back I need to try more because all the dishes are traditional dishes.“

“This place is legit! Don’t be put off by the somewhat cold service— that’s usually a sign at Korean places that the food will speak for itself.

I had my favorite, the #3 Spicy Pork “Bulgogi”, and it didn’t disappoint. The complimentary banchan and kimchi were delicious, and interesting. The potato salad provided sweetness and creaminess to balance the mild spice of the pork. The white onions were close to raw, but with the sauce gave a great progression of crunchiness, then sweetness, then oniony heat.

The meal also came with a slice of watermelon for each of us, which was generous, since the 3 of us were sharing a single main dish.

I’ll definitely be coming back here the next time I’m in the RGV, even if I have to go out of my way.“

“I took my daughter here for lunch. The waiter explained the menu pretty good and helped us along in the ordering process. Went to make sauces and another worker was great. Explained the sauces and even brought me a sauce he made to try. Food came and the food was really good.
