About La Colonial Tortilla factory

La Colonial Tortilla Factory is a local favorite, known for its authentic Juarez-style burritos and freshly made tortillas. The menu features delicious options such as brisket and queso burritos, as well as humble yet flavorful frijole y queso burritos. This local "hole in the wall" is praised by nearby residents for its high-quality food, including excellent burritos and bomb tacos. The tamales are also popular and have a distinct taste that is hard to find elsewhere. It is recommended to arrive early, as the restaurant often sells out of popular items by 10 or 11 am. The flour tortillas have a homemade flavor and are thin, making them perfect for burritos. Meanwhile, the corn tortillas have a pronounced corn flavor, density, and graininess that make them ideal for tostadas, chilaquiles, and enchiladas. Fresh tortillas are available to go, and customers can enjoy friendly service while enjoying some of the best burritos in town.

I love picking up burritos from Colonial for myself and my coworkers. You must try the beans with cheese. They have the best tortillas and most of the burritos are delicious. Me and my coworkers love them.
Quick pick up stop for delicious food including burritos and tostadas. Can buy homemade tortillas and tortilla chips. Fast service, staff is always pleasant. Food sells out.

Getting ready to leave Phoenix, AZ to El Paso to see my sister in hospital. I seen a cooking show with Patty Jinich where she visited La Colonial Tortilla Factory. It was perfect timing. I actually went there after arriving in El Paso, it was conveniently 5 minutes away from the hospital.
Ok, hurry up and get in line early. It starts to get long real quick even before it opens. But well worth the wait. I Tried the Chile Relleno burrito first...read full review
