Great BBQ, one of the very best in the state. This place was reviewed among the top 10 places to have a legendary BBQ in the state a few years ago; its still making good reviews. The atmostphere is too enclosed and old. With several rusty pieces.
For the last 14 years I have been listening to my boyfriend gush about this place. So, when traveling from North Carolina to El Paso for the first time together, the first place we went was The State Line. Food was delicious and staff was friendly and helpful. Tyler was our server, he was excellent, very helpful and very attentive. The beef ribs were huge, bigger than the plate!! The sausage, brisket and baby back ribs were so good! The coleslaw, beans, potato salad and homestyle bread were delicious too.
