Taft-Diaz Reviews
What a great Anniversary dinner! The Rack of Lamb was amazing, as were the pork chops! Very nice wine list as well. Raul is a great waiter!
Was not disappointed.
My Husband and I visited Taft Díaz for brunch..wonderful attentiveness, excellent cooked to order food, beautiful tastes, and a comfortable atmosphere.. was so enchanting, we made another reservation before we left. We returned for the 5 course custom New Years dinner, which was just as spectacular. Well worth the wait. Great recommendation for a place to receive excellent service, excellent food, and feel relaxed.

Taft-Diaz, a hidden gem in El Paso, offers an intimate dining experience with exceptional food and drinks. The restaurant's location in a quiet boutique hotel adds to the ambiance, making it a perfect choice for a more upscale dinner. The menu boasts delectable dishes, such as the lobster risotto and the corn soup. The whiskey list is outstanding, and the guava mojito is a refreshing delight. The food is very tasty and prepared to perfection, focusing on high-quality, gourmet meals. The atmosphere and service align with the upscale dining experience.
The restaurant provides a modern fine dining experience with perfect food, ambiance, cocktails, and service. The Chilean Bass and the desert rain cocktail are standouts. The chef, Bobby Cortez, uses Mexican ingredients with a modern twist, such as roses in the mole and blue corn tortillas. The chef personally explains some of the courses to the guests. The warm bread with amazing butter is a wonderful start to the meal, and the Burrata and endive salad are also delicious.
