We had a few appetizers which were delicious. We tried the scallop tostada and the octopus which were both amazing. For our entrees, we went with the duck, and the Sebass, which did not disappoint. Every plate had plenty of flavor. would recommend Taft Diaz.
The restaurant host seemed to have an issue with me having made my reservation through Open Table. Even after having provided confirmation for reservation and payment he was not the nicest most welcoming host. He seemed angry at the process. I did attend the dinner even though the restaurant said I did not attend. The food was great and the waitress was kind, attentive, and friendly.
The service was superb!! As a frequent diner I appreciate great service. Food was pretty good! I loved the Waygu tartar, the price on the menu shows $35 but we were charged $40...it's not worth $40 to me. The Duck Breast is delicious and around the same price! I had Australian Waygu for the first time! It's a really good steak like a good ribeye but not a Japanese Waygu experience which is more creamy in texture. Very pretty restaurant, not sure about the dropping lamps...
