Pretty neat spot. Love all the art decor. The bathroom sinks were neat too.
The Jalapeño margarita was fabulous!! The quail with the fajitas was a difficult pairing. You have to pull off the bone first.
The shrimp fried jalapeños were great except the tails were left on.
The mushroom soup was absolutely in my opinion the best thing on the menu!! It was so good!

I admit I haven't been to the Elgin Morelias since February but it's not what I remember. Ordered the tortilla soup which ive always adored but they've changed the recipe. The flavor of the soup was watery and the chicken was over cooked and tasteless.
I'll try again this fall and hope it was a bad night. The staff was friendly and attentive.
