I want to commend the team this evening at the Elgin GC. It was extremely busy, cars lined up all the way on the shoulder of the road, dining room full and rude people everywhere. But that crew stayed upbeat, was fast as hell, courteous and friendly no matter what. Watching their teamwork was inspiring. In this day and age it’s fantastic to see people working so incredibly hard under that kind of pressure and still giving the best customer service with a huge smile on their faces. These are the kind of people who deserve a wage that matches their efforts! If I could, I’d give them a raise to $20 an hour and feel ashamed it wasn’t more! The self serve area just needs to be kept up with, by the different shift management and employees, rather than keep asking the staff for what is needed. Hand soap was out today.
