The food ordered (chicken) has been enjoyed, glad Elgin has this place. Friendly & helpful employees ready to take your order. The self serve area just needs to be kept up with, by the different shift management and employees, rather than keep asking the staff for what is needed. Hand soap was out today.
I want to commend the team this evening at the Elgin GC. It was extremely busy, cars lined up all the way on the shoulder of the road, dining room full and rude people everywhere. But that crew stayed upbeat, was fast as hell, courteous and friendly no matter what. Watching their teamwork was inspiring. Dine in needs to be opened, mobile pick up should be somewhere other than a handicap spot that gets blocked in by drive thru. The area is usually dimly lit, which gives the illusion that Golden Chick is closed. The phone needs to be answered so curb side orders can be picked up, rather than having the customer knock on the door to let the employees know you are there.
