Stopped in today on our way traveling from Conroe. Food was excellent! Great mushroom burger and fries and onion rings were great. The owner stopped by and chatted with us. Great stop!
We stopped here for supper after getting a load of hay, and were not disappointed. The food was delicious, my husband said thst the corned beef in his rueben sandwich was some of the tenderness and juiciest he had ever had. My burger was huge and tasty and the onion rings, oh my, home made and huge. We also got the fried pickles and chips and queso, fresh made chips and fried pickles and homemade queso and ranch. Atmosphere wad nice. Service was good but slow. There were only 2 tables occupied and we were one and it took 40 minutes to get our food of which mine was not even remotely warm. Couldn't eat it. Husband’s was also cold except for the chicken patty part of his chicken fried steak. This was our first visit. Might give it another try for lunch but breakfast @10:15am was very disappointing.
