“Gloria's is pretty darn good to begin with. Some of the best fajitas in the area. Good salsa. Really good queso. Great beans. And I'm told their seafood is pretty darn good too. What really sets this Gloria's apart is their patio. One of the nicest patio setups I've seen in the metroplex. It's huge. It's got retractable walls. It's got heaters. It's got water misters. They really thought of everything.“

“We were driving through downtown Plano, looking for an adventure, and ready for anything to come our way .. when Mama Vicky's caught our eye. This tiny restaurant had impressive reviews, so we decided to try them. This was a new style of food for us, so we tried several items from their menu. We ordered a Cubana sandwich, chicken Sope, pork Pupas, and a beef taco. Be prepared to wait a hot minute because they make everything from scratch, order per order. Everything was fresh and delicious. Authentic mexican food. What made it exceptionally delicious for us was taking the lettuce, tomato, feta pieces that fell on our plate, and adding that to our beef taco. Oh yum! TIP: There are only 3 handicap parking spaces across the street, no crosswalks nearby, and this is a very busy street! All 3 handicap spots were full when we arrived, and they were full when we left. TIP: Parking is a beast! Be prepared to circle the downtown Plano area and walk a few blocks, especially during busy times. TIP: There are only 7 tables inside. Two tables hold 6+ people, and the rest are 4 tops. No outside seating.“

“The prices are really great, especially for the size of food they give. I felt like I went back in time with these prices. A pupusa was just $2.50, but it's a good, healthy size and the quality of it was like something you'd find for at least 3 times the cost and half the size anywhere in the city. This is definitely worth the side trip to get to them. I think I've found my new favorite little hole in the wall hidden restaurant.“

“The food here will rock your pazuzus! I have Stage 4 lipolydomanstepsis and you see I need to eat a lot of dairy rich foods. So me and my wife went last Sunday and mama mia señorita this is the best Mexican food I ever had in all my 68 years. I'd never had a tastier, delicious brisket burrito. I thought I had dementia again because I almost forgot my wife's name for a second while she exploded in her chair eating their angelic, mouth melting fajitas! The music they played took me back to my first time jumping off a plane during my first deployment. Thank you for your food service and making me feel alive again!“

“Once I walked in, saw the kitchen and who was cooking. I knew this was going to be good (home cooking) . I had 3 pupusa and taste perfect. Inside looks like a restaurant from central America. FYI this place is not for the Basics and it has flavor.“

“Our family decided to try a new place for us. We thought this was a Mexican place, but it turned out up be Salvadoran. We all ordered something new and enjoyed the food. We found the music a little loud, but we were all sitting under a speaker. I loved the pupusas - a new dish for all of us.“
