“This place is legit best bbq I've found in the RGV. I'm from Iowa and I know my 'cue. You NEED to stop in at the Grub Wagon and grab whatever they have that day. If you're in the valley, it's so worth the hour drive.

Down home, slow smoked flavor that just can't be beat. Service was 5*. They have a non-air conditioned room in the main restaurant, or if you're like me and want the AC, they have a dining trailer that has AC.

Each bite of food tastes homemade. Got a chance to talk with the pit master / owner and he seemed like a cool dude. Happy to support!

Prices are very reasonable and you get a good value per dollar here.“
