“La Duni is a Dallas treasure. We had another incredible lunch today and had great conversation with the owners Taco and Dunia. We all had Limonadas con menta to drink. They are the most refreshing, balanced, and tastiest lemonades I’ve ever had. We had the rice salad w/ chicken and a torta cubano with yucca fries. They have the best chimichurri sauce for the fries which they make in-house. You can taste the love and excellence in La Duni’s drinks and food. I highly encourage everyone to have the La Duni experience and support a family who has shared their gifts with the Dallas community for many years.“

“Stopped by on a whim today to see if they had coffee since the Cuban place a couple of doors down is closed on Mondays - SO happy I did! The espresso was freshly made, strong and delicious. I was a bit hungry too, so I grabbed a chicken and a beef empanada-like (not sure if it was an arepa?) pastry in the display case and I already need more, even though I’m not exactly sure what it was 😆. The lady working up front was very kind, accommodating, and was absolutely on point recommending their amazing beef pastry. Will definitely be back!“

“Ok. New place to us. Tienda y Restaurante Latino. Josie had tortilla soup and I had Arroz Mixto, kind of a latin take on fried rice with chicken, beef, shrimp and a fish fillet. I thought I tasted soy sauce but the owner said there wasn't. But it had have an oriental taste. The veggies are carrots, corn and onion with the addition of bell peppers and zucchini.The tortilla soup had more of a red broth like pazole or menudo than the usual chicken broth. It also had more actual chicken than Josie was expecting. Portions were such that we will both have another meal from it, though I COULD have eaten all of mine if I stuffed myself. Overall, much better than I thought when we first looked over the menu. Will definitely put this on our list of places to return to.“

The gentleman behind the counter offered me a menu and enthusiastically- but patiently- answered all my questions about the food options. They cooked everything fresh to order. “Visited for the first time for their Latin night on Friday and had a great time.

The place is small but does have a separe speak easy type of club next door with dimmed lights and loud music. The vibes are great, crowded for the dancing and restrooms are clean.

Only disappointed on the drinks and their cost. Please note that they charge $5.00 for a bottle of water., that’s expensive specially when you’re dancing and want to stay hydrated at the same time.

Please note that they automatically change a 20% Service FEE already.

Parking is limited but they do have Valet Parking 🅿 option.
