“Brennan was our waiter and he was amazing! One of our table mates could not decide what to pick so he left it up to Brennan. The food came out and Brennan had picked the best dish for our guest! Very attentive to our table and great personality!“

He went from pushing trash down to serving food. Combing his hair with hands then scooping ice cream. Come on, man!“

“Very good food and service! I ordered the "lunch special" with pork chops, mashed potatoes, and green beans. The chops were nice and juicy, with brown gravy. If I would have known how big they were, I would have ordered the "senior"pork chop, which came with only 1 chop. I couldnt finish it all. The potatoes were instant, but very well seasoned. The only thing that kept me from giving the food 5 stars, was the green beans were still a little crunchy. My wife ordered the senior CFS; It was large enough that she could only eat half. It was a frozen, pretty breaded patty, but very tasty. The cream gravy was from a mix, but tasted like Pioneer mix, which I think is the best mix out there. We will return next time we are in Tyler, as I want to sample the Mexican menu.“

Saw that they serve All you can eat fish on Fridays and Saturdays, then before ordering I saw a huge Chicken fried steak go by!!! obviously it had to be the Chicken fried steak!!! it was awesome!!! Wife had the Chicken sandwich and it was great too!!! Definitely returning to try more!!! The prices are great too!!! I forgot to mention the wait staff was the friendliest we've seen in years!!!“

“I gave 4 stars because of the price. Although for the amount of food received, the price was not bad. The food was greasy but did taste good. Large portion sizes had complimentary self-serve well-seasoned beans located near the Coke remix machine, to-go boxes were needed, and we came there hunger. The burgers are priced separately from the French fries and tater tots for $2.99 each. The drink was also about $3. The burger was about $13 for it alone. All tasted very good. I will come back there again but not too regularly because it is high in cost for a fast food place. For two of us, it was $37 after tax, and we got regular meals, nothing fancy or too big.

“I have leved at Lake Palestine resort for about 6 months or so. i love the atmosphere. The voew is spectacular. the staff are very friendly and personable. whether you want to stay for the night of a weekend or long term I highly recomment this place. Its also amazing to me at how many return campers they have continuasly. to have return customers says alot about a place. The long term residents are like family. Their bathroom and laundry facilities are fabulous.“

“This was the first time that my husband and I had been here in a year and a half. The last time we visited the visit was absolutely awful. The food was terrible. The service was horrible.

This time was a complete 180. The food was great. It was hot. It was fresh. Our waitress Lexie was an absolute doll. She made sure that our drinks were always topped off. She made sure that we had what we needed and wanted. We will be going back more often.

“We were greeted with a friendly smile and received wonderful service! The waitresses Dawn and Jodie were so nice and helpful! On top of receiveing great service the food was delicious! I got the Nettie's homemade chicken salad which I highly recommend!! My husband got the fish and enjoyed the flavor of it. My kids shared a hamburger and the plate was wiped cleaned! So if your in the area please stop by and you will get a tasty homemade meal and enjoy the conversations with the waitresses on staff!“

“My omelette was pretty darn good, though I did not really see the chorizo on it. Potatoes were good. Service excellent. Sadly, the French toast my friend ordered was terrible. Two sad pieces of very thin bread. Mot brioche or challah. No garnish. Just a sad plate with the bread(French toast). We were disappointed. Server was kind and thoughtful and attentive.“

“Was about a 15 minute wait when we showed up (Saturday around 1:30). They have a waitlist you can put yourself on before you arrive. Service was good. My wife and I both ordered the filet to be cooked medium. Hers came out medium rare and mine came out medium well. Other than the steaks, everything else was great.“

“Our school’s regional golf tournament was at the golf course whose lone food source is Putter’s Corner. As with many school functions, food “is what it is” at any venue. Wow! Not in this case. The bacon double cheeseburger, I sadly couldn’t even finish, rivals any Mooyah, Whataburger, Smashburger, Wahlburger, name-it burger spot, could create. Is the secret locally sourced grass fed beef? “Our visit to Tyler's Applebee's was excellent. The waitress was friendly and attentive. Our appetizer of boneless wings was crunchy with moist chicken. Our Southwestern bowls were the best I've had anywhere. This was our third visit in the last couple months. This particular restaurant is very well managed with waitresses that have been there for years. The manager even stopped to make sure everything was satisfactory.“

“Very disappointed in our take out with this restaurant. My husband and I got tacos since that is their special today with two margaritas. Got home - tacos were ice cold, rice was bland as well as the beans. We didn't even mention that because we were starving after doing yard work and ate the food anyways. 🤷‍♀️ But the margaritas were watered down, and the two of them barely filled one glass. Poured down the drain. So we talked with the staff over the phone to which they agreed to remake the drinks. Thought everything was cool! My husband drove all the way back up to the restaurant and was told he needed to pay for them to get new ones because the bartender I guess thought we were trying to rip them off. Ridiculous - if you're going to charge $46 bucks for tacos and margaritas - they'd better be worth it. These were not, and the customer service was even worse. Can't imagine a bad review is worth two margaritas!“

“My husband and I went to Chilis in Tyler a few days ago. Our server, Macy, was FABULOUS! She was attentive and responded well to any questions we had. Our only complaint was the chips. They have changed the chips, and they are awful! We definitely will go back, and hope to have Macy again. We won't be ordering the chips but the rest of the food is always good.

Keep Macy and bring back the old chips!“
