“First time in this restaurant and was taken by the number of customers and the vintage appearance of the building. The menu offers something for everyone. I tried the Buckwheat pancakes and was surprised how dense the pancakes were. The flavor was a strong wheat, I added spiced apples and didn't need syrup. It's a bit of a drive into that part of Ft. Worth but that doesn't mean I won't return.

Biggest problem is time to be served breakfast turned in to 20 minutes.“

Their staff is polite and always willing to suggest tasty menu items! You definitely want to check out their decor, they love to support the local veterans and school! A lovely small town feel cafe for the up and coming River District.“

“My friend and I got the toasted sea salt latte (if I remember the name correctly). I had iced and my friend had hot. I also got a snickerdoodle cookie! Drinks and food were delish! The atmosphere of the space around the truck and the truck is really cute and also modern and cool! I’d go again for sure.“

“The food was fantastic, I had whole grain blueberry pancakes with an omelet and I'll definitely be visiting again. The service was alright for how busy it was, but was noticeabley slow. The atmosphere was nice but it was very crowded when i and a friend went. We had to wait for about 45 minutes for a table for two. Otherwise, it was a good experience.“

“This is one of my regular places for breakfast. The Ground Sirloin and eggs and the Chicken Fried Chicken and eggs are my favorites although I haven’t had anything there I didn’t like. Try the homemade raisin toast!

She was so amazing knowledgeable and relatable. She helped me pick out some meals even grabbed fresher dates for me because I expressed I probably wouldn’t eat all my meals in 1 to 2 days. Lol she is the reason I have come back every week now to get meals!! My first week eating these meals I lost 7lbs HOW I do not know but that’s for anyone who’s doubting them. The last couple weeks I’ve met different staff members and everyone is super nice and welcoming!! “We had breakfast here this weekend and the food was delicious! The cafe de olla was good, I liked that it wasn’t too sweet. But no fee refills so that’s a bummer. The chilaquiles were great! The salsas had a good level of spice to them and the meat was really flavorful. The Gansito pancakes were also great. All the portions here are pretty big so they’re great for sharing. They also gave us free mini concha’s for they’re anniversary! They only do counter service which is kinda weird, so you have to order and pay first then they’ll bring you out your food, but we had plenty of people check on us throughout our meal so it really wasn’t an issue. Would definitely come back again!“

“Visited this location for brunch with three other people. Food was good and cooked to order and the server was pleasant and efficient. Place was really busy since it was Sunday morning but they took care of us in a reasonable amount of time.“

“Late evening dinner for 3 of us. All of our food was really good, Our Server was friendly, attentive and got our order exactly right. It's an older restaurant, and has been updated some, but you can tell it's been there for quite some time. Restrooms we clean and well stocked. Convenient location just off I-20.“

My only suggestion would be read the room a little better.. a bunch of old people and a family with their toddlers don’t wanna listen to club music and slow jams 🤦🏻‍♂️. Me as an average Joe walking in by myself for a quick bite definitely doesn’t wanna listen to it either pick a normal family appropriate station and not some bs they would play at a strip club“
