“Was looking for a donut place nearby and saw in the photos that they did custom lettering donuts. My friends bday was the next weekend so it gave me the idea to order the HAPPY BDAY donuts. Min took our order and she was very kind and they were ready for pickup at the time arranged!“

“Been coming here since I was young. The kolaches are signature in house. Different from the rest I've seen. The kolache dough is always soft and moist! If you're around Beltline near Walmart, come in to see them. Personally, I found the owner/shopkeeper are always very kind - a great, friendly start to the morning~“

“I Love the Customer Service just as much as the jelly chocolate long John just the right amount of jelly and not too much making it overbearing to eat like most the shops I go to do??♂️That’s why this Morning Treat Donut Shop is the best in Mesquite! The Kolache’s are all on point too, as well as the chocolate sprinkles for the kiddos and an apple fritter for the wifey ??“

“Best donuts ever! My family loves the glazed, long john with cream, fruit jelly donut, chocolate frosted, chocolate sprinkles and the no cheese sausage rolls. The sausage rolls dough are incredible!! The workers are also very nice. She is always friendly and has a smile. Favorite donuts!“

“Went here Yesterday to purchase donuts for our Fleet drivers. And the person helping was awesome. As I had to purchase enough food for 42 drivers. All the drivers said the pigs and the donut’s couldn’t have been any better. I tried the Bo Dan and it was fire! Will be our go to spot if we are in this area!“

“ive been going here since elementary school (im now 24) i LOVE their sausage and egg sandwiches since my young years ive gotten those sandwiches. they are just sooo good always what i want every single morning. i got my friend and her sister donuts from here once and theyve been asking where did i go cause her sister wont stop talking about the strawberry donut i got her. i love how its still family owned since i was younger i admired them so much. i still do to this day. it brings me joy knowing that this family owned business hasnt changed i dont want to see it to ever change i love it . i appreciate them every morning for having such a good attitude towards their customers<3 i love it there . stop by and support them they deserve it<3“

“Visited Hawk Donuts today, and I was a little concerned because the shop was small, dark, and old. Lady serving was friendly and helpful, so I bought something. Unfortunately, the food was terrible. I was given a sausage roll that was not only old, but the bread around it failed to rise. My fist bite tasted like unprocessed, uncooked flour, and the bread had the flat look that happens when one cooks old yeast. Upon inspection, the sausage was dried out and old too. I had already driven off, so I am unable to speak to customer service. However, I will not be back.“

“Went here with my 2 kids last week. I opened a business in the building next to this one and promised we could get donuts on a Saturday morning if the kids would help me with setting up before we opened.
The donuts were fabulous! I told the owner it was our first time visiting and they gifted us an extra bag of donut holes!

“So it may seem like just another donut place, but my wife grabbed me an old-fashioned. I’ve gone to a couple of places around here, and didn’t really have high expectations, and my first comment on tasting this was that to me, this is the platonic ideal of an old-fashioned donut. It was so good, I came back today to have another - and it was just as perfect. (they are normally too dry for my taste, but I like the texture and the visceral experience of pulling off the sides to eat it, but this one was light and airy, and had an amazing texture, and fell apart in all the right ways!)“

the breakfast croissant sandwiches are top tier! Also, the butter spinach and jalapeño patty pig! I visit weekly, sometimes multiple times a week!!! I highly recommend for anyone in Forney on your way to work in the morning or even passing thru!“
