“I ordered online and picked it up at the store. I got three pies and a cheesy bread, my order was made quick and efficiently. The food was not bad, and adequate for a Domino's. I really enjoyed the sauces even though they were one dollar each seems like that's the way everyone is going. The staff was a little weird and I didn't exactly like the conversation I walked into, however everything else was up to par.“
“Always in awe of how Wild Barley has overcome what could be a major intersection nightmare location and made it their own oasis of family friendly environment with insanely patient, professional staff. All in addition to their award winning food and beer that is uncompromising in its quality (not to mention value) when every restaurant on earth has countless excuses to cut corners. Our latest visit was on a Friday afternoon, surrounded by a good contingent of extremely genial regulars plus lil’ regulars and I hope to count ourselves as ones soon.“
“Excellent meatballs. Highly recommend the meatball appetizer. Pizza crust was very good, a little too thin for my personal liking. Fresh ingredients and 100% handmade. Perfect for atmosphere for a date night setting. Outside was perfect. Prices are a little steep but the food shows it.“
“Honestly Great Food , Great Price, and Awesome Service. I had the Gyro and Greek Salad Combo . The owner was there and was friendly as well as the woman who took my order. This was a quiet and peaceful spot to enjoy lunch or dinner. Thank you to my friend who recommended it. They also are known for their Chicago Dogs so I've been told. I definitely recommend ? ?“
“The family and I love coming here! The amazing chef, Gennaro is INCREDIBLE. Every time, the food is divine. I love the seafood dish I get, and it is always LOADED with the most beautifully cooked seafood. My husband cleans his plate every time he gets the lasagna, getting as much sauce on the fresh bread as he can. My daughter LOVES the pizzas, they are always super cheesy! Akita was the most bubbly and friendly waitress! She made the whole experience an absolute delight! Always phenomenal service and wonderful service! LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE!!*******************Who left a piece of Italy in the middle of San Antonio??I am AMAZED! They tried to say they were short waiters tonight, but with the hussle these people had, I did not notice! Checked on without feeling stalked, loved without being molested! The staff was friendly, fast, and super patient! Our food was GREAT! The portions were PERFECT! We started with cheesy garlic bread, and it was wonderful, with so much cheese I wondered if there was even bread under it, until I bit into it for delicious soft bread with a crisp edge...Divine...My husband ordered spaghetti with meatballs, and I had spaghetti with seafood (I could not pronounce it, much less spell it). Our lovely waitress was wonderful and pronounced the dish for me without making me feel like the monolingual fool that I am!The first sniff of this amazing dish flirted seductively with my nose. I pulled muscles and clams from their shells. Huge shrimp dominated my pasta, and fried tendrils of tender calamari patiently waited for attention.Delicious? Delectable? Words that can barely capture the sensual caresses to my tastebuds. My palate was in ecstacy over the delicate spice in the tomato sauce...pure bliss! Then, desert...oh, sweet blessings, the dessert! Generous portions of freshly made cheesecake and tiramisu. Like a voluptuous hug of satiny soft cream in my mouth. My husband, picky as a toddler about his food, actually enjoyed it so much, he complimented the staff. I was in shock, the man has to ADORE his meal to compliment. I should know, 12 years of marriage attests to this.In other words, if you even vaguely enjoy Italian food, YOU NEED TO EAT HERE!!!!“
“5 stars isn't enough! The beer is excellent - From craft local brews of IPAs to stouts, regardless of your taste, you'll definitely find something to enjoy! If beer isn't your thing - cool, I won't judge you (too hard) but you def have to try their ? pizzas (cheeseburger is a bangin choice)Aside from the food, the crew there is awesome. They are personable, funny, and a blast to chill with!Definitely worth a shot if you haven't tried them yet!“
“Kid-friendliness: Love love love how respectful and positive this place is. It is perfect for kids , toddlers, etc ... Everyone will enjoy how delicious their food is ❤️ YOU HAVE TO EXPERIENCE THIS PLACE I LOVED IT ❤️Wheelchair accessibility: There plenty of love in the space it's a wonderful place to eat much love yall that was amazing, its definitely wheelchair accessible ❤️“
“Good food! I had the lasagna. Unfortunately it didn't have alot of flavor. I did like it but expected more of tangy flavor in the sauce. Oh the bread and oil were delicious!!Kid-friendliness: I'm sure they are accommodating to children There were t any when I went. It felt more of an adult restaurant!“
“nah this place was bussin. Bro it was so bussin i didnt even needa wash it down with ma grimace shake. I really enjoyed this i started fanum taxing other clients. This food had an exquisite aftertaste along with a nice musk of rich aged itallian cheese. I felt the ecstatic juices from the tomatoes as I bit into the topped itallian flatbread. Thank you pizza break, i will never have a break from ur delicious food.Vegetarian options: burgerDietary restrictions: it is healthyParking: it is so funKid-friendliness: very greatWheelchair accessibility: very amazing“
“On a nice day it's a vibe, love food trucks and they have a bar so you can chill and enjoy a evening. Ate at Bussin Q which might be considered on expensive side for food truck but you're getting a big beef rib IYKYK, Only bad part is very little free parking.“
“This bar is dope!! I'm from Cali, I'm here on vacation and I really wanna come back and visit this place again!! Frank made me this shot that tastes like the Mexican candy they sell in Cali and damn... it was so good... as a Retail manager this should be put on the menu, I promise it'll sell like crazy. Also Victoria was super nice and cute, great customer service. I love this place!! Very affordableParking: Idk like 12“
“Heard about this place from a friend and decided to give it a try. They have a customer for life! The crust is perfect, the cheese to sauce ratio is perfect, and the sizes and combos they offer have something for everyone. I personally get a classic pepperoni in the 10". The perfect amount of pizza just for me!“
“The pizza was wonderful. I loved the flavor of the sauce, however because it was so good I wish there had been more of it. The pizza is SO cheesy it was decadent. The pepperoni was perfect not too greasy and very flavorful. The dough was good hubby would've preferred it a little thinner but that's a personal preference, I liked it the way it was. The only drawback was that you can't enjoy it there when it's nice and hot, and the restaurant is crowded and kind of sad. It made me want to help them fix it up and make it presentable.“
“For sure the most delicious pizza I ate so far in San Antonio and Austin area!!!!! Seriously, it was just GREAT!!! Ordered the Quattro Stagioni but we are so fast and furiously that couldn’t take a pic before haha. Just go and see for yourself!“
“If you're looking for something other than Tex Mex on the river walk, would highly recommend Fiume! Pizza was delicious as well as their Caesar salad. Service was great and the food came out quick! Would definitely come back here again but would prefer to sit out on the patio!“
“Poppy’s Pizza has been one of our faves for a long time! Serving up some the best pizza pie in San Antonio. The place reminds me of an old school pizzeria the way they should be. Simple and priced right. Not looking for frills just good dang pizza! The staff has always been courteous and accommodating. If you are looking for fast food this ain’t it. Good pizza takes time if it’s made fresh so expect a 20 minute wait, it’s well worth it.“
“Amazing pizza... just a hop skip and jump off the river! Very nice family friendly atmosphere! Nice place to get away from the river walk hustle and bustle! We come down to San Antonio several times a year and this little place will go into our rotation! Great staff and great food!Kid-friendliness: Yes, kid friendly“
“Stopped in with the extended family for a joint birthday lunch/dinner. We had a solar meat pizza and a pepperoni pizza. We were amazed at the size of the pizzas. The numbers on the menu don't do justice. We had 10 people, and had plenty of leftover slices. To boot, the pizza tasted great, as did the fried pickles and mozzarella sticks. 11/10, we will be back!“
“I consider myself a pizza snob...but this pizza is impressive!!! Perfect crust, the poblano pizza is to die for! And as a bonus there's a cute little stray cat that will hang out with you on the patio while you wait for your pizza! Pizza plus a pizza cat..I AM SOLD!“
“This place was simply amazing ?. The food was fresh as can be. The Pizza was an explosion of flavor. The wings were so tasty, hmmm Buffalo. ?. The waiter and hosts was so kind and talkative. I love that they are open until 3am. It's literally the spot. My Greek salad was so tasty. The pizza dough was so soft. Every bight was mouth watering. I look forward to returning for Mediterranean food, appetizers, pasta and Calzones.I met the owner, he has authentic recipes from Mediterranean. Highly recommended. It's a small dine in, but so cute.“
“The ricotta with balsamic appetizer with the flatbread was to die for. What we loved about this place was the freshness of every single ingredient!!!!! We also had the best waitress who was so kind and made us feel so welcome. If we are ever in San Antonio again we will DEFINITELY be coming back here.“
“I came here with my family for a birthday lunch. We were a party of 15 and they were able to accommodate us. They don’t take reservations however they did tell us to call ahead so they could prepare a table for us. We got there and the table was ready. Our service experience was a little slow but let me explain why:1. Jay was the only waitress for the entire restaurant2. There were at least six other tables she was serving with at least three/four people3. Jay was also the only cashier4. Jay was also the only food runner5. Jay was also one of the bussersSo we totally understood. Even though Jay was the only one running the entire front of the house by herself, she stayed calm, nice and the most attentive as she could. She did not look overwhelmed or come off as flustered and she took care of me and my family. Give her a raise!! She did the best she could and I strongly believe if she had help her service would’ve been five stars. We made sure to give her a piece of birthday dessert and a good tip to make sure her effort was noticed. Thank you Jay!As far as the food; the food came out very fast, but it was a 6/10. Nothing fancy, but I may be back again to give it another shot.Again please give Jay a raise. She really deserves it!“
“"Absolutely stellar experience! From the first bite of their mouthwatering pizza to the last sip of their finely crafted brews, this place exceeded all expectations. The pizza was a perfect blend of fresh ingredients and divine crust, while the brewery offerings were a symphony of flavors. The ambiance was cozy, and the staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Five stars all around for this outstanding pizza and brewery combo!"Kid-friendliness: Nintendo N64 - need I say more“
“Wow is all I have to say. The food never disappoints. Our waitress was AWESOME. The reason for the 4 star instead of 5 was because of the hostist. You walk into pure attitude and a rude face. It was only Tuesday. Just really disappointing to walk into. The food is always 100%“
“We had a Great experience here! First visit and very pleased. We tried a bit of everything and not one complaint. Food was very good and reasonably priced, which is always nice, and drink options were lovely. Happy customer and would definitely recommend and “
“Great find and a much needed break from the usual. There is a ton of parking. Atmosphere is modern but smart. There is about an equal divide between indoor and outdoor seating, along with a handful of bar seats. Wine menu has several wines rated 90+ points by Wine Spectator. The wine and cocktail menus is focused but more than adequate. Wifey and I are usually winos, but we opted for their speciality cocktails--delicious. Apps were fantastic: burrata, bread, and calamari. She had a seafood pasta dish and I ravioli with short rib meat. Service is excellent. The only negative is the noise level: it's just too damned loud. This can easily improve with sound absorption so that patrons can speak easily.“
“Excellent thin crusted pizza, excellent!Location can be busy for lunch Mon - Fri which provides nice, casual opportunity to share table and chairs with other patrons. The staff, Food Prep and Bakers are excellent, friendly and never too busy for brief discussion.ThanX Y'all,Peace ✌️Brian BruceVegetarian options: You're going to have to be creative and know it'll be ? to the Right.Peace ✌️Brian BruceDietary restrictions: Absolutely zero issues with holding "this" and replacing with "that;" no Brainerd win win for all.Peace ✌️Brian BruceKid-friendliness: Not witnessed yet but I'd say definitely so.Peace ✌️Brian BruceWheelchair accessibility: Sidewalk not very wide but definitely navigable with care. One entry door always seems to be locked "Stop n Rob," I meant "...Go" ? style...You'll enjoy, promise.Peace ✌️Brian Bruce“
“A nice family place that we had lunch at. Everything was fresh ingredients, served hot to our table. The waitress was prompt, friendly and helpful in providing more information to us before we made our menu selection. Nice pictures and Italian feeling surroundings.Parking: There are about 20 free parking spots in front and beside Papa Dantes.Kid-friendliness: Welcomed our toddler and provided seating for him.Wheelchair accessibility: Able to get handicapped parking and my rollator into and out of Papa Dantes.“
“Great place for Pizza and Stella beverages. We came late Saturday night, right before closing and the team there was already wrapping the place down. They were so kind and allowed us to order to go, and we had a beverage at the bar while waiting. I tried the raspberry Stella, but was too bitter for me. I was given a sample of a lighter option, it was delicious. #7. Pizza was overwhelmingly delicious, we wished we could have ordered one to go. They use fresh ingredients. The dough was soft and had a perfect toasty taste to it. The Pizza was an explosion of flavor honestly. We appreciate the waiter who welcomed us, and the lady bar tender who was so kind. We look forward to visiting again soon. ?“
“Husband, neighbor, and I came for pie on pi day. We were not disappointed. We've driven by plenty of times and finally decided to go. It's absolutely worth it. We will definitely go again. Super fresh pizza and friendly people. To the guy who was in a hurry and walked away, it was definitely a loss for you.“
“I can’t help but laugh at some of the reviews on service, authenticity etc. First of all pizza is very subjective. We all grow up with our favorite places and memories. That being said I used to live over a pizzaria. Florios pizza is very reminiscent of the pizza I grew up with, As is there Italian sandwich. The vibe is as well. Old school corner vibe from my neighborhood, Some of the naysayers that live in the bubble called Alamo Heights don’t have a clue. And those that are from Brooklyn..As mentioned it is subjective. As for the guys behind the counter.. They are fine but like me aren’t into the fluff.(pretentiousness’s) Get to know them and your view will change. With that said.. The product is great!“
“We came here for the first time on a random Saturday night, it is kind of small but super cozy. Enough room for about 15 tables or so. They do have reservations quite a lot, assuming it is Valentine's Day weekend - so I would reserve a table for the weekends anyways. It was great service by the staff, dim enough but not too dark, and not loud at all. They do have outdoor seating available as well and I thought it was super cute. We ordered chicken Parmesan and a primavera pasta. Complimentary bread rolls were SO FRESH I regret not taking a picture and the pictures taken of the food don't even compare to the taste. It is so authentic and not your regular Olive Garden, it was so flavorful and I'm a picky Italian food eater! The pastas were devoured and so perfect, along with the tiramisu! Props to the chefs and waiters, 10/10! I will be coming again!!“
“I wanted to give this 5 stars so badly but I couldn’t, I’ll explain why:Pros:Good locationAmple parkingCozy sittingDifferent menu optionsMain entree tasted good (pizzaoila dish)Clean restroomsCons:Soup was luke warm, cold after a few sips(cheese tortillini)Only 8 tables (had to make reservation for a weekday afternoon)Pricey- $53 for me and my wife (was charged regular price drink for my 2 year old daughter)Salad was overly drenched in ranchMale server appeared rude to other clientsIt was a decent experience, but not worth the price IMO, I support locals businesses but changes could be made“
“My inaugural visit to Bubba's 33 surpassed all expectations. Desirae, our server, provided top-notch service, expertly guiding us through the array of food and drink options. We kicked off our meal with the tantalizing "Combo appetizer", followed by my choice of the bacon and guacamole burger and my sister's selection of the turkey bacon sandwich. Every dish was cooked to perfection; the burger was a taste sensation and the turkey sandwich was both appetizing and scrumptious.“
“Rheanna was marvelous... the service was so good... she was attentive and informative to ensure I had a great time.. Her margaritas were amazing..mango and watermelon... ask for her for best energy barside... And did I say their margaritas are $4 and amazing.. Chili's has nothing on them...also get the shotgun shrimp ♡“
“Pleasantly surprised with this restaurant, very clean and I sat on the patio. Food was awesome, nod to the chef and sous staff. The wait staff was exceptional, I have never had such a dynamic experience at an Italian restaurant. This will be one of my go to place from now on!“
“They make the best pizza in San Antonio, everyone I brought this pizza to also was blown away. I can't wait to try the potranco location since I no longer live next to the bitters location.I'm sad my 3 minute drive to the bitters location is now 45 or 25 to the potranco location. It's probably a good thing because I was addicted to the pizza there.“
“This place is great. Fun people who are friendly. The pizza is properly made in their oven. Crispy crust, not soggy on top. And two huge slices and a fountain drink for $10 is hard to beat. I'm only knocking the atmosphere because it's in the mall. Other wise this place is a must stop 9/10“
“Simple and delicious. I had the supreme pizza with fresh quality toppings. The pizza was filling yet you don't get the bloated feeling. It had a hint of spice and tomato sauce. The staff was polite and efficient. The restaurant was clean, comfortable, and cozy.“
“Took my Grandsons here for some Pizza and some fun & games...while they had a great time I sat at the table and read my emails while there were some things I had issues with I remember overall it was fun for the boys and that's all that matters. I'm sure they were overwhelmed by how many people there was.“
“We got the seasonal pizza and the ricotta alto. Each dish was very filling even when split. The pizza was the piselli e asparagi, it was a lot of veggies on a blanco pizza. Not having the tomato sauce made the veggies pop and as long as you like these (sweet peas, asparagus, and cherry tomatoes) you are in good shape. The ricotta al forno, was just cheese bread, but it sure was tasty. This place is very tasty but you do pay for it.“
“We had a company luncheon today and the food was delicious! They had everything ready right on time and the order was perfect with no mistakes. We had pizza, lasagna, chicken alfredo, salad, mozzarella sticks, and cheese cake and everything was delicious! Thank you Main Street Pizza & Pasta for great food and great customer service!!!!!!!“
“Excellent visit. Ordered and sat through a wait for the food but it was good and plentiful. I had the Lasagna and it was piping hot and good sized. The pizza was loaded and smelled great that my grandkids were enjoying. The salads were oversized and full of ingredients. Overall a good experience.“
“Haven't been there since around 2016, ate great food. wings burger & beer A great game, cowboys. Prescott qrb. cowboys won. a couple a days ago drove by. since then Prescott sucks! Should've never ever ever ever resigned him. "Jones, is probably making more $$$ on Prescott and the boys, on the side. Investigate him thoroughly.Ivebeen a diehard passionate loyal fan since the Roger Stauback yrs. But Prescott sucks! Not because he's black, but because his has his chance / and the team as a whole. But they'reNo good. Old players hurting. Drugs neverendingToo many too many unforgivable penalties.Heck, Highschool teams are better disciplinedthen my boys.“
“Had an incredible experience at this gem of a pizzeria! I love supporting my local community especially when it’s family owned and operated! The owner (Jefferson) was so instrumental in helping me pick out the perfect pizzas based on what I liked. His kindness and passion for his business was refreshing and inspiring to witness . I ended up ordering The Al Pastor & The Texas BBQ pizza. Both were filled with amazing flavor that left you wanting more!!! The crust alone added insane flavor to every bite!Again, the pizza was AMAZING! I highly suggest checking this pizzeria out! Especially if you’re looking to try a whole new twist on Pizza!!!“
“On 07/28/2023, our family drove a long way (273 mi.) to celebrate our daughter's 20th birthday, at Big Lou's Pizza, in San Antonio. Best choice we could have made. Our server, Zak L., was really attentive and one hell of a nice guy! One needs to experience this pizzeria for themselves. Just remember, you will not, be disappointed.Parking: The parking lot was big enough to hold any crowd. It was safe, secure and room enough to open your car doors without hitting the car next to you.“
“We moved in down the street from the cute area in Beacon Hill and finally were able to try out this gem. My kids loved it and so did my husband and I. We went during happy and were very satisfied with the portions of everything. I loved that the jalapeños had a kick to them. Highly recommend! Oh and get the truffle fries!“
“We love a Latina entrepreneurial queen! Say what you want, but when an owner is willing to respond and deal with the good and bad an cares about their product...well that isn't something you find often. Great food! Great service! And if you can't afford to eat out and complain about the price, stay home.“
“Absolutely love coming to the Tavern! I’m not sure what’s better , the food, the people or the mix between high end flavors and amazing specials or the feeling of that cheers type atmosphere! The owners are the nicest people and a joy to talk to! Thank you Dave Erin Milas for all the great food, happy hours and laughter!“
“I've ordered from this store twice now. Good service, but for some reason this time the driver completed the order before it was delivered. I decided to wait 30 minutes to see if he would show up. He did show up, however the loaded tots appeared to be half eaten. Either their cutting back on the amount or he ate half of it. Now I did still tip him $20 as he was an older man and I felt bad for him for having to walk up up all the stairs. I've included a picture of the loaded tots. They are either bunched up with a smaller amount than usual or my delivery driver are some of it. Not sure if I will order again from this location or not. Probably not. 4 stars because they are always friendly and always smile and the manager is nice. However, paying for an over $50 delivery it would be nice to get the full amount that I ordered.“
