Sonic Drive-In has received mixed reviews. One customer appreciated the respectful and friendly service from the staff during their recent visit, in contrast to their previous experience. However, another customer had an issue with their order, as the chicken sandwich was missing the chicken and the burrito lacked the usual toppings. Despite this, the manager quickly resolved the issue and maintained a professional and friendly demeanor. While the food, including the burger, coney, and fries, was generally enjoyed, there were complaints about old and rubbery fries in one visit. Some customers noted that the fries and onion rings can be overcooked at times. The chili dogs are highly praised as the best. A recurring issue is that the ocean water with coconut syrup is often missing the syrup. The service and management’s response to issues have been praised, with staff being polite and friendly, especially during busy times. Overall, the location offers quick service and tasty options like tots and chili dogs, but there is room for improvement in food consistency and accuracy.
Recently, many customers have shared positive experiences, highlighting exceptional service and dedication from the staff. One customer described the staff as eager to serve and very happy to do so, noting that the manager's leadership seems to inspire the team. They were impressed by an employee's concern for the building's appearance and the overall positive attitude of the young women and men working there. The staff's behavior and dedication created a hopeful and uplifting atmosphere, making the visit memorable. The customer ordered French toast sticks and a cheeseburger, expressing gratitude for the quality service.
Another customer had a late-night visit after traveling across Texas to Fort Stockton. Despite arriving almost midnight, Sonic was still open. They ordered a footlong American hot dog with a large tater tot, a double cheese smashburger combo with chili cheese tots, and a footlong Coney dog combo with French fries. Although the order took a bit longer than expected, everything arrived hot, fresh, crispy, and correctly made. Sitting outside at the outdoor eating area, they enjoyed a wonderful experience after a long day of traveling.
The new Sonic in Fort Stockton, Texas, has an upbeat approach to the quality menu and customer service. Customers look forward to enjoying their favorite items, especially the amazing Pickle Fries, and appreciate the friendly atmosphere. Overall, the restaurant continues to impress with its dedication to good food and service.
