About Happy Drunken Crab

Happy Drunken Crab is a family-owned restaurant known for its seafood boils and tasty seafood dishes. Located near the Stockyards, it is a popular spot for those craving seafood in the area. Many customers have enjoyed their signature seafood boil, which includes shrimp, mussels, corn, and sauce, with some noting the large size of the shrimp and mussels. The sauce is often described as flavorful and addictive, making diners want to return for more. The restaurant offers a build-your-own seafood boil option, providing flexibility and a fun dining experience, especially appreciated for its friendly and attentive service. The ambiance is quiet and cozy during the week but can get busy on weekends, with lots of seating and good music that allows for conversation. Service quality varies at times, and parking can be limited, so visitors should be prepared for street parking. Over the years, some customers have noticed that the portions of their seafood bag have become smaller, though the food remains good. The snow crab, known for its garlic sauce, is highly addictive but also quite garlicky. Prices have increased over time, which has affected some repeat visits. Despite these issues, Happy Drunken Crab continues to be a favorite for many seafood lovers, especially those who appreciate supporting a local, family-run business.

Best mixed boil I have had in a very long time. Great service. Great food. Crab, shrimp and sausage to die for. Seasoned and cooked to perfection. If you don’t like it, you don’t know good food.
best shrimp I've had since I moved
This lively Cajun-seafood spot serves up customizable seafood boils, fried baskets, and garlic-butter dips. Fresh king crab legs, crawfish, jumbo shrimp, fried catfish, and seasoned fries headline a messy, flavorful menu. Nautical decor, paper-lined tables, and a playful casual vibe welcome hungry diners.
