Flying Fish Reviews
Customer service!! They know how to treat their customers
I go over there sometimes, with my son, eat lunch, the fish is very fresh. We eat grilled fish usually grouper and we both like!!!
We eat here at least once a month, and the food is always very good. We love the CADDO plate, but yesterday's servings to my husband and I was disappointing. The shrimp was way overcooked and rubbery, the rice had uncooked grains in it, the fish and shrimp were scorched to the point on the bottom that there were inedible pieces that you could not even chew. Flying Fish is a popular spot in the cultural district known for its fresh and delicious seafood. The fried catfish and shrimp are favorites among customers, always fresh and crispy, never too fishy. The fried redfish and hush puppies are also loved by many, with the hushpuppies being amazing. The crawfish is a must-try when in season. Customers have noted that even during peak times, the line moves quickly and the food always comes out quick and tasty. Parking might be a challenge, but the flavorful meals make it worth the visit. The atmosphere is quite casual, clean but 'fish camp', and the restaurant offers non-fried alternatives and a great selection of dishes. The shrimp po boy did not disappoint, with lots of big shrimp with good flavor, and the fries had good flavor as well. The ceviche and Catfish Jambalaya were also good. Everyone was friendly from the moment of ordering until the food was received.
