This place is amazing! Extremely authentic and delicious. It was like walking into a yakitori bar in Tokyo! The smells, the looks, everything!
Just 1 word FLAVORFUL!
We came in a large group on a busy Sunday afternoon. Service was efficiently and attentive. Everyone in our group agreed the foods were excellent. It was so good that no food picture was taken cause they were all gone as soon as they arrived. We have been to many high end restaurants and foods here tasted close if not better.
Absolutely delicious.
Pleasing environment.
Everything that our table had was delicious.

Based on the reviews, Ichirō Izakaya | Yakitori Diner & Bar is an absolutely amazing place that feels like walking into a yakitori bar in Tokyo or Kyoto. The atmosphere exudes a sense of whimsy, fun, and authenticity, with a fragrantly delicious smoky smell from the charcoal yakitori grill. The food and drinks are delicious, with awesome hot food made fresh off the smoked grill. The quality of meat on the skewers is great, with highlights including the chicken thigh, gizzard, and grilled lamb chop. The eel in the unadon is wonderfully buttery, and the in-house Matcha creme brulee is a perfect top-off. The service is very fast and wonderful, with friendly and attentive staff. This place is a wonderful hidden gem in Fort Worth and the metroplex, offering authentic izakaya-style dishes that exceed expectations.
