Went to Panther Cities BBQ 101 class today. Chris and Ernie did a great job building the course to all levels. Lunch was included! The best part for me was being able to ask these accomplished pit masters about their technique while they were doing it. Their openess has helped me question the how and why I approach my own cooking. Thanks for a fun day and being open with your process.

Friendly/helpful staff. Brisket is the best option in the menu, I love some ribs and even the ribs are perfect, tender, flavorful and the meat doesn’t get stuck between your teeth, flacos tacos hit the spot, burnt ends are the best in the city, there’s so much to compliment from the menu, you really have to go and try it for yourself, prices are fair, servings are great, not skimpy at all. Be sure you get there early or you could miss out on the best cuts, parking is easy, and they have plenty of seating.

Loved it the first time, but when we went today (Saturday July 10 at 12:30 pm) it was closed up tight. No sign about why, maybe staff shortage? Hope y'all open up later or tomorrow.

Showed up near close and got a beautiful mashup of what hadn't sold out.Everything tastes great.The collard greens had some big pieces of bacon and a delicious fiber to a gastronomic meal.Grits were creamy, a little spicy, and lovely with the shredded cheese.The grits had more kick than the jalapeno cheese sausage. Great snap and smokey taste.Ribs were soft and sweet. Perfect fall off the bone finish. The sauce is high vinegar content to contrast the sweet rub of the ribs.

Excellent burnt ends, pickles and onions are great as well... Highly recommend stopping in here and the Republic House bar... They work well together!!!

The bbq is solid the rub is a pepper based more than I usually like but the jalapeno sausage is killer and the Mac n cheese looks just like regular Mac and cheese but it's smokey spicy jalapeno goodness!!!!!

For me, you must have great brisket to rank in the world of bbq joints. Fort Worth has been blessed with a multitude of high caliber bbq resorts and Panther City ranks at the very top. The brisket is always perfect. Then, throw it on top of some of the best elote and you are in business! The line moved very fast and I was surprised on how fast the service was during lunch on a Friday (dont know why, but in Texas, EVERYONE eats bbq for lunch on Fridays). I'm lucky that this p li ace is close to home and I can go so easily.

Got there later than we planned, so we had to improvise a bit.Brisket was amazing... Crust, smoke ring, juicy AF... Heavenly taste.Pork Ribs were fantastic.Cracked pepper sausage was one of the best sausages that I've ever had.Sauce... Totally unnecessary, but excellent.Now... The brisket elotes... I cannot begin to describe the sheet joy of this dish. We had the green for St. Patrick's day. All of the flavors, every damn bite.13/10 will be back... I need to get the turkey in my mouth.
Try Jefe's, you won't regret it! We had the Big John, a brisket taco and brisket quesadilla. Sides are full of flavor. Wife, kids and I all loved the BBQ. We cannot wait to go back.

My wife, son and I stumbled across this food truck as we were leaving the local farmers market and decided to get a quick bite to eat. BEST BBQ we've had in years! I had the Big John and my wife had the pulled pork quesadilla. Absolutely delicious food and such friendly people. Looking forward to going back because I was a fool and didn't get the banana pudding which I'm sure is like the rest of their food, BOMB!!!

Tip, don’t be like me and get there late, they run out of stuff because they are so popular. Also Nextdoor, the bar was fantastic. The drinks were delicious and our bartender was so friendly. Jefe’s catered our wedding . We had people calling us wondering where they could go to buy more of their food after the wedding . Saying it’s “good” is a understatement! It’s absolutely the best BBQ we’ve had hands down!
