Came in with my parents for a Hickory Burger and a couple of Chicken Fried Steaks. Ended up taking it to go due to circumstances beyond No Frills control. Service was good. They aren't going to make the cover of Texas Monthly with that Chicken Fried Steak, but itbwas good and the portions are generous. Don't be afraid of the Spicy Pintos, they aren't intense. White gravy was exactly the texture you want for this kind of meal. Overall, a good experience.

NFG is our go-to spot for a quick, fast meal that doesn't feel like fast food. They do a fairly good job, but can be hit it miss with quality sometimes. Nothing deal breaking. Great place to eat!

First of all I want to say while my waitress provided lackadaisical service, she was extremely nice when I did finally see her. In all fairness this waitress was waiting almost on the entire food side of the bar. She was also having to deal with Uber and to-go orders. I was hoping to pop in and get a quick lunch since I only had an hour total and thought that would work. It took forever to get my order placed with many other people's order.
