Old Texas Brewing Co Reviews
We went there for the first time today, and when the waitress brought out our queso, it was very cold. She took it back and came back about three minutes later and it was just as cold as the first time. My husband ordered the chicken bowl and his mashed potatoes were cold and I ordered the burger and it was cold as well. Service was not the greatest. Unfortunately we will not go back. Paid 40 dollars for food we didn’t eat. Also I had foot surgery a few days ago and I can’t...read full review

Old Texas Brewing Co. is a great spot for a relaxing break with delicious drinks and flavorful food. The salmon and mashed potatoes are highly recommended. The inside of the restaurant is spacious, featuring a stage for live music on one end and a laid-out dining area on the other. A large bar is in the middle, with pub tables and a private room for parties. The large patio on two sides is perfect for outdoor seating. Service is friendly and fast, with staff checking in regularly, and customers have noted that the service is incredibly attentive. A large selection of draft beer and a full bar are available, with many options on the menu that are not overwhelming. Popular appetizers include chips and salsa, brewhouse fries, brisket nachos, pretzels, and loaded tots, all of which are tasty and satisfying. The french dip sandwich and chicken fried steak are highly praised, and parmesan garlic fries are a favorite. Food prices are reasonable, and the quality often exceeds that of regular restaurants. The large beer option, which is 36 ounces, is a popular and good deal at around $11. The bar area has an "ice rail" that keeps drinks cold, especially helpful with the large beers. The atmosphere tends to attract an older crowd, and many have described the ambiance as an incredible upgrade from the previous establishment. The place has many TVs for sports fans, and the overall experience encourages visits earlier, as the hours are a little limited, closing at 10 pm during the week and 11 pm on weekends. Overall, Old Texas Brewing Co. is a favorite for many, offering good food, drinks, and a friendly environment, making it a great choice for gatherings and celebrations.
