Looking for a place to eat since many are closed Mon/Tues. Had to go into the oldest brewpub in TX and have a beer.
Gaelyn waited on us and was fantastic. She visited with us, gave us her”local” spots to visit and was very attentive and kind.
I don’t normally eat meatloaf but split with hubby and it was very good. So was the beer!
My husband and I loved coming here, always had amazing service and food. So naturally we wanted to show our family how good of a place it was but sadly this past weekend when we took our family to try it out and we had horrible service, from walking into the door to waiting to be helped. Fredericksburg Brewing Company offers a variety of beers, including popular options like the Carta Verde Mexican lager and El Hefe wheat beer. The Honey Cream Ale was especially enjoyed by many. Customers have praised the food, with dishes like the black and blue salad, chicken wrap, and a great burger with really good flavor receiving positive comments. The crab cake dinner and spicy Brussels sprout appetizer are also highly recommended. Desserts such as the chocolate chip pecan pie are considered decadent and a must-try for those with a sweet tooth. The beer selection includes favorites like the Pioneer Porter, which many find very good, although some beers like the Peach Ale have received mixed reviews. Customers often suggest trying the sampler to enjoy each beer fully. Service experiences can vary; some mention slow service, but waitstaff are generally friendly and atmosphere is lively and very loud. The venue can get busy, but it remains a good place to enjoy local brews and tasty food. While some menu items can be out of stock, visitors look forward to trying different dishes on future visits. Overall, it’s a popular spot for good beer and food, with some areas for improvement.
