Inwood Estates Vineyards Winery & Bistro

Came in with a decent sized group, and the staff was very warm and welcoming. The owner gave us a sampling of a port wine which was amazing (and strong). Great atompshere and lovely outdoor space. Would love to visit again in the future.

The Gatlin family are making world class wines here with Texas grapes, and for serious wine lovers, a tasting at Inwood is not to be missed! I highly recommend the upgraded tasting as you will get a master class in winemaking.

Inwood is a quaint and welcoming winery and bistro. Always welcoming when you arrive, these folks know their wines! Excellent Texas red wines and tasty bites. This is a hidden gem and a must stop winery on 290! It does not disappoint!

This is probably the best wine in Texas, all their wines are Texas grapes produced with low yield to strengthen the flavors. Temranillo is my favorite for sure.

Some of the best red wines you will drink. Hearty, dry and beautiful. You'll need to age some a bit at home, but it's sooooo worth the wait. Salute

We have tried many wineries in Fredericksburg. Inwood Estates remains our favorite because it is an incredible winery. In fact, we have been members since 2017. The owner and staff are very knowledgeable about wines and extremely friendly and hospitable. I love coming to this winery because of its welcoming atmosphere and the wines. Dan, Spencer, and their team work really hard to produce high quality wines, and they deliver every single time. Please do not be fooled by the new and flashy wineries with so-so wines. Come here if you are looking for a good representation of Texas wines. You will not be disappointed!

Their wines were very good especially the reds which I like. I visited with a few friends and family and we tried the red and white wine tasting while some had the red wine tasting. We also ordered he cheese and charcuterie board which was delicious. Everyone had a good time.

We visited Inwood Estates Vineyards during our weekend trip, and it was hands-down one of the best winery experiences I’ve ever had. The wines were outstanding—especially the Heavy Petal Rosé, which was perfectly balanced and refreshing. I also picked up a bottle of the One Tre Pid “C” to take home because it was just that good.

The atmosphere was warm, inviting, and unpretentious—making it easy to relax and enjoy the food and drinks. What really set the experience apart, though, was the service. Every team member we interacted with was welcoming and attentive. Dan, the winemaker, even took time to come out and chat with us personally. Hearing his passion for the craft and the story behind the winery made the visit even more memorable.

Between the incredible wine, great food, and top-notch hospitality, Inwood Estates Vineyards is a must-visit if you're anywhere near Fredericksburg. I can’t recommend it enough.
