We recently celebrated my wife’s birthday at Navajo and it was hands down the finest dining experience we’ve had in years. Chef Jesse does an amazing job with the menu. It is filled with creative interpretations of steakhouse standards that hit the mark every time. My wife is a snob about French Onion soup and thought theirs was the best in Texas. Wanted to find a place off the Fredericksburg strip, so it was less busy, for dinner. Still short distance from the main part of maon street. Excellent food and service. It is alot of tables in a small space so once they sat the larger table next to us it got loud. However I was too busy savoring my delicious food to notice. Highly recommend the Braised Short Rib! Navajo Grill gets it right in every respect. We stopped in just as they were opening on a recent Tuesday evening. They were on top of everything. Excellent food with attentive but unobtrusive service. Even the background music contributed to the overall experience. We'll return the next time we are in town.
