The Pharmacy is a coffee shop and has a really cool historic vibe. I got a cup of coffee and it was good. The barista was a cool dude and very friendly. It's part of the Albert Hotel so expect this place to be kept up well.

Unfortunately the baguette bread on my prosciutto/brie sandwich today had some mold spots, which you wouldn’t see due to plastic wrap. Albert hotel kitchen makes the sandwiches. Moldy bread, Unacceptable! The coffee beverage was okay. The atmosphere is pretty nice. The staff needs to be more attentive. I’ll pass on the sandwiches.

The Pharmacy (also known as “Keidel Pharmacy” online) is a decent coffee shop. Coffee good, pastries good. They also have wine, beer and soda available. Food menu includes breakfast sandwiches and tacos, regular sandwiches, wraps, charcuterie, cookies, etc. Nice space, building architecture preserved. The first table we tried to sit at was dirty from previous guests. Really no reason for that, not crowded, plenty of staff, some just standing and chatting. Not very enthusiastic about ordering and service, likely late in their shift. IMHO there are better coffee shops in town.

It's crazy to exist in the universe, crazier still that the universe exists at all. Billions of years of matter that burst out of nothingness at the beginning of time gently and sometimes violently coalescing together forming early stars and galaxies, until a very familiar one formed. The Milky Way, maybe a subtle foreshadowing to the foamy milk that would be served by the good folk at a small unassuming coffee shop in the small unassuming town of Fredericksburg. They have food and it's probably good or whatever, but who knows really. The first thing you'll notice when you walk in the door is that there are tons of beings and objects formed of the very materials that were spawned into existence so many billions of years ago. This is a good omen. Each day I order an iced americano and let me say I'm not exaggerating when I say that their ice is really cold, the perfect thing to keep my drink cold and refreshing as I drink it. Existence is truly beautiful, isn't it?
On a serious note. The coffee and service is great. You should go there.

Great place for coffee and brownies! They offer a nice variety of sweets and savory treats. They have a second room if you want to dine in. Even if you're in a hurry, you will find some great take-out options in their fridges.

Great place to stop in and try some sweet treats. I purchased their oatmeal cream pie and OMG it was amazing. My wife with her gluten sensitivity purchase a carrot cake, a Mexican spices chocolate muffin. The staff were so attentive. The building was originally a pharmacy with a doctor’s office upstairs. There are some internals that were added to make this like a small cafe but the floors and ceiling all original. Very nice place would definitely recommend a visit.
