Had an impromptu weekday lunch with hubby dearest. Needed a place which was fast. Ordered chicken dum biryani and malai kofta which comes with naan and rice. It was not as fast as we expected. Lost a bit of patience and we took a irani chai while we waited. It was good. Biryani was average. No complaints. But Malai Kofta was amazing. I am writing this review after my multiple visits from the day they opened.Chowrastha started with great quality and balanced taste. Their food fits every taste and need. Spicy to non spicy. Example sambar was not too spicy or watery initially. So fit need of less spicy ppl but with that they gave spicy chutney. Which can make spicy taste also tickle.But now sambar is spicy, watery and lack flavor. So balance of taste is missing.Same experience with other stuff.I believe they...read full review

Great place for Indian foods and snacks. Even though it's big for those huge crowds it's always hard to find space to sit and enjoy the food. Otherwise I would have rated 5.
