“I've been coming to this Dairy Land since I was a toddler. I remember back when the restaurant was where the parking lot is now. I've never had a bad experience. They have never once gotten any part of my order wrong. I come here a few times a month and it tastes like what a hug feels like. I've known the family who runs the restaurant for years as I've been a regular since I was a kid, and I used to walk down by myself or come with my grandma or mom. Came in at 830pm and expected the typical eye roll from employees the late customers always get, especially on a holiday and I received the total opposite from Assistant Manager Nick! He was on point with his customer service. He went above and beyond to make sure I was handled quickly and letting me know I wasn’t a bother at all. He showed he was excited to be at work and that’s a rarity from the younger generation. I want to try the Gyros next because these will be made by real Greeks and judging by the quality of the burger, I expect it will be very good. The soda machine is always working.As far as other burger oriented businesses go, well, Burger King has completely gone down the tubes on its Whopper offerings. McDonald's was never much to write home about where a traditional, greasy spoon style burger is concerned. Wendy's and Jack in the box are hit and miss, but simply can't compare. So far as a traditional, home style, greasy spoon Burger goes, Dairy Queen wins hands down.
