The food is decent. Not great, but not bad either. The cajun shrimp was enjoyable but the boudin balls were bland. Our waitress was not very kind, which was disappointing. We'll deal with subpar food, but not rudeness. We'll find other places to eat in the future.
Very noisy in the Cafe. Couldn't hardly understand our server. Food was not up to standard as in the past. Fried shrimp was chewy and fried oysters were over cooked. Onion rings were crispy on the outside and onion was like raw onion on the inside. The ceviche was good though. I haven eaten here many times but this visit while in Galveston was a zero. Will not recommend anymore.

I would have loved a grilled option with the oysters.
The boudain needed a bit more flavor for my liking; the remoulade sauce helped.
We will return again.
