Buckshot Saloon is a lively bar in Galveston that offers a variety of entertainment options, including bull riding, live music, two-step dancing, karaoke, and pool. The bar attracts a younger crowd, who are generally well-behaved and enjoy a great time. DJ Buck is praised for creating an amazing atmosphere, making Buckshot Saloon a popular destination for bachelorette parties, girls' trips, and those looking to experience country dancing and a vibrant nightlife. Recently, the bar has gained attention for line dancing and non-country music in the last 30 minutes before closing, providing a different but fun experience.
The bartenders and staff are described as amazing and friendly, contributing to the lively and party-like atmosphere. The owner is noted for being accommodating for events, and the security team works to create a safe environment for everyone. While some reviews mention a very young crowd, which includes individuals under 18, Buckshot Saloon is still considered a great local spot with good vibes and the potential for fun. Overall, Buckshot Saloon remains a top choice on the island for entertainment, dancing, and memorable times.
