Ate there for the 1st time today. Got the fried chicken sandwich and fries. It was really good and it was actually a whole breast. I will be eating there again and probably really soon. Gonna try the catfish next. DJ and the lady employee (didn't get her name) were very nice. They gave us a sample of his "special" beans. Highly recommend.
wonderful fòd best I had in a long time
stopped for some gas and I stumbled across DJs. Met Mr. DJ himself. Spoke briefly with them both and enjoyed my food.

Dj's Kitchen Galveston offers the best Cheeseburger basket, hidden inside a shell gas station. Their pork chop basket is thick, tender, and seasoned to perfection, a must-try. The fried chicken sandwich is a whole breast and delicious. The staff, including DJ, is friendly and generous. They even brought a forgotten order promptly. The special beans and spaghetti are highly recommended. The menu has a nice selection, including catfish and double cheeseburgers. The grilled and fried chicken burgers are amazing. Overall, a delicious dining experience worth returning to, either in person or through delivery services.
