Little Daddy’s Gumbo Bar

Very good po boys with fried oysters that had such a great consistency. The chicken and sausage gumbo had an amazing flavor as well. Good service and a great location. Would easily recommend.

Atmosphere was great, not too uppity and not a dive, service was good, and so was our food. We started with Creole Seafood Empanadas, wife had the Bourbon Street Platter, I had the chicken/sausage gumbo. All was good, but the empanadas stole the show...

I go back here every chance I can to get the grilled oysters and Greek salad. OMG. So delicious. Best around. (I dont lice in Galveston so i go there specifically for the oysters. Oh and the gumbo is awesome 👌

Absolutely the best crawfish etouffee ever! Huge portions and tons of crawfish! Delicious!!!

Absolutely amazing! I had the crawfish etouffee. It was the first time in forever that I had etouffee packed with crawfish!!! Absolutely delicious! Definitely over ate but sooo worth it!!!

Pro-tip: burgers are awesome here too, not just the gumbo

I LOVE THIS PLACE OH MY GYAT. The food is SO GOOD AND SEASONED. The shrimp is delicious, i love the gumbo and rice, the asparagus and bacon is so good, and the bread is amazing. The server was super chill and he always came and refilled my water. I NEVER write reviews but this place is just too amazing so I had to share

I got the Bourbon street platter (the one with gumbo) and the Jamalaya (the one with bread). The food came so fast too!

Amazing gumbo and fried alligator. Big portions. All others in my party also enjoyed their food. Very fast service! I think their motto is "10 minutes or less."

I was expecting a little more fancy. I definitely didn’t need to dress up for this place. The worst part was it was absolutely freezing! Like miserably cold!

Ok I've never been to the REAL Galveston, only the seawall stuff which is purely large commercial chains. My friend suggested this and I obliged. We had alligator bites as an appetizer and they didn't disappoint. I got the half and half Po boy and it was excellent. She got the "small" combo and it was the best. I'll definitely come back. The service was great even though it was packed. Well done!!
