The service was slow and the waitress was a total jerk. On top of that, they falsified my tip information! I left a tip of $7 and she tried to change it to $17!! A huge battle with them and my bank ensued...

Food was simple but very good. Bar tender was friendly. Customers were very friendly. Not a smoker so that was a eeh..
This is the oldest bar still operating in downtown Galveston. They opened in 1986. Tiffany took great care of us. It’s definitely a locals hang out. We stopped in on a late Saturday afternoon and everyone who walked in after us seemed to know each other. They were all very welcoming to us though. Prices are great. 4 drinks was $17 before tip (don't forget to tip your bartenders!). The decor is really fun. Witty sayings and fun dive bar stuff that makes it unique. They have a small room off the regular bar area with a jukebox, tables and dartboards. Highly recommend if you want a fun Irish experience with decorative flare. Will return.

I love their sandwiches, great value for money. The Reuben is full of meat and sauerkraut, wonderful dill pickle and the option of a fabulous potato salad. For me, It's a bit dark inside, so I usually order to go and enjoy a superb lunch outside.

I would love to give this legendary island hang out my business but as long as the guy bartender with a lip piercing works there, I will not feel comfortable being there, I've never received such rude service, do yourself a favor, if a guy bartender is working there, usually where's a hat, just head right back out and come back another night, I really wish I did

They make the best Reuben on the island! The only downside is it's kinda smokey, of course if you smoke you'd love it.When we go, I say "Let's get a smoky Reuben!" It's our joke.
BEST RUBEN sandwich on the island.
