The greeting was warm as I walked in to Al Green over speakers. I ordered the fried rib plate with cabbage and mac n cheese. The fried ribs had a mustard sauce on them that I'll have to get a side of to keep dipping the ribs in. Outstanding flavor and crunch as well as tender. The cabbage was perfect like the mac n cheese. All that was left were 4 rib bones. This is a must if you are in galveston.
Fish and Shrimp Special was excellent. The fish was perfectly cooked and extra hot! The cashier was amazing she made our whole experience easy and she was so friendly. We'll be back every time we come to the island.
The food is incredible. I had the Ribs and Shrimp with yams and cabbage. Everything was well seasoned hot and delicious. The owner and staff was great. We will definitely be coming back this Tripp as well as the next one.
