I love The Proletariat! The people who work there are extremely professional and down to earth. I promise if you stop by you will get a great drink and a delightful conversation, amongst beautiful artwork in a wonderful atmosphere. 10 out of 10!
Located in Galveston, The Proletariat Gallery & Pub offers a friendly and welcoming atmosphere perfect for studying, getting together with friends, or relaxing. The staff is extremely friendly, and the atmosphere is really cool, with an artistic vibe featuring bound notebooks on the counter filled with people’s art. The menu offers a variety of food, drinks, coffee, and teas, including a delicious new reeces latte, superior cold brew, and Earl grey tea with a shot of almond milk since it is loose leaf. Guests can also enjoy pizza from a collaboration with a separate business. Open until midnight, it is an ideal place for night owls. The music is relaxing and creates a great ambiance, with live music at Sidewalk Sessions on Wednesday nights from 8:30 to 9:30. The Proletariat also provides board games and a bar journal for expressing thoughts. It is a hidden gem welcoming dogs and owners alike, offering great customer service, an inviting atmosphere, and an overall experience that cannot be beaten for the price.
