“Tacos Alex is definitely a solid spot for tacos! I ordered the traditional tacos mixtos, which had a great mix of bistec and tripas. Both the meat and tripe were packed with flavor and really hit the spot. The plate also comes with frijoles a la charra and cebolla asada, which was a nice touch. What stood out the most was the tortillas, super sturdy, so they held up perfectly without needing to be doubled up like at other places. These tortillas can stand on their own!
My friend got the tacos colorados, and they were just as tasty, with a nice crunchy tortilla. The salsa was flavorful, though I like mine a bit spicier. All in all, it's a great place to grab some tacos. Plus, they sell beer, so if you're in the mood for tacos with a cold one, this is definitely the place to be!“

“This place is authentic! We couldn't have been happier to eat here. I had the hamburger and requested to have beans added, and they did it for me. The salsa was good and there were plenty of limones. The service was perfect, and so was the atmosphere. Next time we visit Rio Grande, we'll make sure to stop by and eat here again. We had no problem finding a parking spot and the restaurant was clean.“
“We ordered a hamburger which the bottom bun of the burger was soggy but it was ok, red tacos were delicious they came with beans and rice but the beans were salty, and the brisket tacos they were excellent. The lady is very nice and sweet but she takes a long while to get the order done, but I don't blame her it looks like she's the only one doing everything, if your behind someone you'll have to wait for a long while for her to finish their order, and then yours, so it'd be best to call in and order in advance.“
