“Just had dinner at Mot Hai Ba. This place is hands down one of top culinary experiences I’ve ever had. The quaint but perfect atmosphere, the top notch service from host, staff and waiters, to the creative and flavorful dishes, were all outstanding. Each dish is unique and creative with a fantastic combination of Vietnamese’s savoriness with just the right touch of French influence.
We enjoyed the banh bao (so good!), Vietnamese rice cake, the pork and the garlic noodles. We were complimented the chard tempura. We also had the apple dessert, the perfect sweet ending with just a touch of salt. I only wish I had more room in my stomach for more. Our server Mata was outstanding he gently guided us through this culinary experience with the just the right amount of direction and he knew every detail about the restaurant. He really made the experience that much better.

The service was good. The food was delicious. We started with the gyoza and crab Rangoon. Both were so good!!! I craved them the next day and wished I had more. Then, for our entrees, we ordered the Pad Kee Mao (drunken noodles) and the Bangkok fried rice to share. I am very particular about my meat and am always nervous when eating Asian food. The chicken and beef were so good. They were tender and didn’t have any gristle. Needless to say, I was very pleased. The prices were so reasonable. I’m hoping to be in the neighborhood again so I can try some more dishes!“

I ordered the new Bourbon Chicken, which was very tasty, and I swapped the rice for noodles. It was super filling and just the right amount of food! My wife had Kung Pao with steamed chicken. She, of course, added some heat, as she loves the taste and consistency of the chicken. The waitstaff was very polite and quick to greet us. The establishment was also extremely clean.“

“Zizi serves the best ramen I’ve ever tasted. I had a chance to try the Tonkatsu at Zizi food stand inside Cali Saigon mall as they are hosting night market during this weekend. They probably served only one kind of ramen at the market. But omg the broth was heavenly flavorful. It tasted just right, rich, and not too salty like many ramen places I’ve tried. Too much sodium is not good for your health and imagine that’s soup so it packs a lot of sodium. I rarely write reviews but this one is definitely worth it. Would like to try other dishes they serve at the restaurant. No picture as my toddler could not wait and ate half of my bowl😂“

Grilled Pork Banh Mi. My go to banh mi. Fresh bread and savory pork.

Pork Spring Rolls (2) were delicious. One of the few places that balance the amount of ingredients instead of loading it with vegetables and noodles where you don’t even get enough pork per bite. These were great!

“As a vegetarian, I ordered the Tofu Teriyaki bowl. It came with an egg which some vegetarians eat (myself). It has brown rice and vegetables. I enjoyed the food. I don't understand why some people complain that the egg is tasteless. It tastes like egg to me that's been cooked well done. I enjoyed the food here. It's a bit expensive, but they give you a large portion size. Enough for two meals in fact if you are not an overly obese person. The tofu was of good quality. And there's a lot of it.“
