Based on the reviews, Bánh Cuốn Vân is a true-to-its-roots Vietnamese restaurant located inside Saigon Cali Mall. It is a small business with excellent food, though some note the service can be busy. The price is very reasonable and satisfying for the taste. The food comes out very quickly. The banh cuon is considered the best. Specific meals include the banh cuon thit (beef) and the thom (shrimp). The ground pork rice roll was a bit better than the ground shrimp one. The cha lua and the shrimp cake are very good. The shrimp, potato and sweet potato fritter is nice when warmed up. The fish sauce with a side of hot chili is delicious. The fried shallots topping is really nice. For a 12-dollar dish, it is so good and so full. The restaurant is in the south hallway that customers walk past as they enter the grocery store.
