Service was pretty bad, we walked in. No one acknowledged us at all. We just stood around confused. Walked to the back and asked the girl how it works. She started to answer and stopped mid sentence to talk to the bartender and laugh with him and we literally stood there for 2-3 minutes before she answered us and told us what we were supposed to do.
Used to come here biweekly, but the service has slowly gone down hill. Handful of the bartenders that work here are stellar, then the rest are certainly bartenders. I now choose to spend my whisky money on frivolous things such as Warhammer, so if I mess up my mini's it's my fault, but a mid drink is sad. Looking forward to Bluegrass on Ballard though!
I stumbled across Herman Marshall Whiskey while attending a local soap box derby in downtown Wylie, and I’m glad I did. The tasting room had a clean, chill, and welcoming atmosphere from the moment I walked in. I was promptly greeted, seated, and given a menu, which immediately made the experience feel inviting.
I ended up ordering the Pineapple Express cocktail, or at least I think that was the name, and it was both strong and delicious. Definitely one of those drinks...read full review
