This is a genuinely great cafe. I have never seen my granddaughter eat an entire waffle before. The service is exceptional, as is the food.

Go eat here.

I can't believe all of the positive reviews on this cafe. We ate there this morning and the food was not good. We had chicken fried steak and it was tough. The mashed potatoes were very lumpy and dry and the only real flavor came from the white gravy. The green beans were greasy, uncooked, and had little seasoning. The waitress was very friendly and nice. The cafe was neat and clean. The quality of the food was not comparable to the price. The one star is for the waitress and the cleanliness.

After much discussion, the general concession is that this review is necessary. On October 5 we ate at Judy's in Garland. The food was delicious and the waitress was wonderful; however, while we were eating we watched in horror as a staff member sat down at a table and began rolling silverware WHILE EATING HER LUNCH! It was disgusting to witness her wiping her mouth and licking her fingers all while reaching into the utensil tray and rolling them into napkins for customers to use. This is EXACTLY how viruses and germs are rapidly spread not to mention was a filthy, gross thing to allow. I say "allow" because the gentleman, whom we assume is a managing partner because his primary role was to seat incoming guests and visiting tables afterwards to inquire of customers satisfaction, stood close by conversing with her directly as she ate and rolled! We will definitely not be returning and we cannot, in good conscious, recommend them.

Ordered chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and white gravy, onion rings, sauteed green beans, and a side salad. The salad was wet, the steak was tough, the mashed potatoes were dark, dense, and tasteless, the cream gravy was like wallpaper paste, and the sauteed green beans were burned. TASTELESS SLOP. The only halfway decent item was the frozen onion rings.

We had our August meeting of the North Texas Studebaker drivers club at Judy’s Café. The atmosphere was great, a little noisy for the meeting, but we expected that. There was plenty of parking for our Studebaker‘s. We had a great time visiting with people who liked to look at our cars and talk about them.
