I bought revueltas and queso con loroco pupusas. I’m from El Salvador and these pupusas are far from authentic or good. They are 2 out of 10 on the pupusa scale. Pupusas are all about ratio. If you don’t have the right ratio they are not good. To much masa they are no good to much filling it becomes over bearing. Also the texture the crisp of the masa is EVERYTHING. ZERO crisp on these pupusas. I would not come back for the pupusas. They are no good to my Salvadoran taste...
Ok, so long story but I used to think I hated pupusas before I tried this place. Not so! Dough was light and fluffy, and you could tell just from the smell that they were homemade, with care, and hot off the griddle.
This place is a hole in the wall, mom and pop kind of place that you simply cannot believe how good what you just ate was, and makes you think differently about food. Love love love and thank you Mamma Vicky for putting your heart into cooking...
