City Post is one of the nicest places in Georgetown for atmosphere and setting, offering excellent service and delicious meals. The event space on the second floor is perfect for special events, with Raleigh providing outstanding support. For a romantic date night or a memorable celebration, the restaurant has thoughtful touches like a dedicated table and attentive waitstaff. The meals are a highlight, with great wine selection and good choices in beef, including the tender and flavorful 14oz CAB filet. The onion soup is delicious, and the portobello mushrooms and brussel sprouts are very good. The porkchop is tasty, though simply prepared, and the key lime pie is light and fresh. The building is incredible, featuring a beautifully designed Speak Easy music area. Reservations will be needed well in advance.
