After an incident today on the square in Georgetown several blocks were cordoned off as police did their work. That meant that people parked in the near area couldn't move their cars for a time, as was my case. I found Red Horn coffee shop still open and as other businesses posted closed signs and redirected their customers. Red Horn advised their employees to lock their doors until it was found to be safe and offered hospitality to all inside and later to others who needed...read full review
It’s nice, atmosphere is great all except for the music which really does ruin the mood. Most people in there seemed to be working on their computer but the music made it hard to focus. Otherwise super chill, quiet. Coffee was good
The young girls that work here are kind, and do exactly what they are supposed to. You have a bunch of old people coming in from the retirement community complaining that young people don't work the same way they did.
The beer is great, coffee is good, and the environment is peaceful. The only thing that bothers people are the entitled customers who think servers should bend to their will.

Red Horn Coffee House and Tap Room in Georgetown is a cute, cozy coffee shop in downtown Georgetown with a nice atmosphere. It is a perfect place to study, catch up with a friend, or relax, and also has some board/card games to choose from. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. The coffee is good, and the cold brew, chemex, and espresso are on par or better than many of ATX's well crafted coffees. For food, there is a really good Turkey Pesto Panini and soft and moist Pumpkin Bread. Tea drinkers have great tea to choose from, and there is also great Cider. However, the beer selection is limited to 8-10 taps and there was not a single stout on offer. The menu and atmosphere is similar to the Cedar Park store, but this location is more intimate and does not have the sound of beer brewing or coffee roasting. It is highly recommended as a go-to coffee/brewery in the Georgetown area.
